CHEAP CAR ALARM – SILENT DEVICE – CATCHES CROOKS

Here is how to detect a thief the cheapest, easiest and safest way I know. You use a simple driveway alarm and instead of putting it on your walkway, you put it inside your car. When a door opens by the thief it sets off an alarm inside your home that only you can hear. Clever, huh? You bet and it really works!
Per advice of a retired police detective, follow these directions for best results:
1. Purchase a driveway motion detector. (see picture of recent ad on ebay. $11 and free shipping. This is what I used and it works great.) Batteries not included.
2. Spray paint the body of the device flat black, but do not paint the infrared beam area. This is the grey looking glass rectangle (see picture below). Use black tape or tinfoil to cover the red light that shows the device is on, you don’t need it and it will tip off the crook!
3. Optional – glue velcro on the back of device so it can be placed hanging from under your dash or high up on the carpet to the left of the brake pedal. You can place the transmitter almost anywhere in vehicle where the beam will point to the unlocked door and set it off. Just remember not to place it under your brake pedal, ok? lol
4. Place the receiver part inside your home where you can hear it at night. I keep mine on the headboard next to my flashlight and phone.
NOTE: Be sure you keep your windows up on the car, you don’t want a false alarm because some cat jumped inside!
