The patriotic Chico Tea Party Group is really growing, just like many others across the nation and maybe its time for you to get involved?
WHAT IS IT? The Tea Party group is a non-partisan organization of like minded citizens that believe government has been heading the wrong direction by over spending, over-taxing and over-regulating. In general we see government lacking in fiscal responsibility and accountability.
The aim of the group is to use our numbers to pressure elected officials to behave more fiscally efficient and effective while slowing the growth of big government.
We see horrendous waste, fraud and abuse when it comes to almost any government spending and there is just not much accountability! We want to force them to be accountable or be voted out of office. We’re making ourselves known by a national campaign of informing voters one Tea Party Group at a time. We write officials letters, we make phone calls, we do internet postings and we hold massive protests in almost every state and the movement just keeps growing.
EVENTS: August 28th members from all over the State will converge on Sacramento to make our views known! We will be joining with many other allied groups who are fed up with being over- taxed and over-regulated while government blows through billions with little or no oversight.
Another huge protest is scheduled for 9/12/09 in Washington DC where tens of thousands will march on the White House demanding honest government and more accountability.
THE NEXT TEA PARTY MEETING WILL BE TUESDAY AT SCRAMBLES, EAST AVE. AND COHASSET at 7 PM. WHY NOT COME OUT AND SEE WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT?
