The AP is reporting that Hassan Nemazee has been indicted on charges of bank fraud and aggravated identity theft charges in a $292 million Ponzi scheme. Namazee served as national finance chairman for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign and after Hillary’s loss in the primaries raised money for Barack Obama. He was also John Kerry’s finance chairman in New York in 2004. Namazee is being held under house arrest in a $25 million bail agreement.
