Hey everytbody, I am not here to post this, I just put my article in our auto scheduler and it pops up on the date and time I set. Right now I’m at one of the the Army’s Regional Training Centers and as we speak I betcha I will either be in a classroom learning something about WMD’s, counter-terrorism, leadership, etc., or marching somewhere. We always march wherever we go…but, we don’t just march, we do cadence marches. It looks and sounds more professional or so they say.
Speaking of cadence marching, maybe some of you old soldiers might remember the Jody lyrics…like this one:
“Ain’t no use in lookin’ back,
Jody’s got your Cadillac.
Ain’t no use in lookin’ back,
Jody’s got your Cadillac.
Ain’t no use in lookin’ blue,

Does this bring back any old memories?
Somehow in the Armys perverse sense of humor this cadence call is suppose to help build moral and make you march better. I dunno how reminding the soldiers that some guy back home is living it up, driving your car and got your girlfriend and this is supposed to cheer you up? Oh well, I gotta go march…”Left, left, left right left! …Ain’t no use in lookin back… ”
