WOW! This is incredible!
I don’t know if any of you are familiar with the weblog”Hillbuzz” but I do know many of you are fans of Rush Limbaugh and you will likely remember “Operation Chaos”. This was a plan to help Hillary win in the Democrat primary against Barack Obama. We know the outcome…painfully so. But what we haven’t known is what’s been going on with Hillary’s supporters since that primary election loss. Now they have given us a clue in the form of an open letter to Rush Limbaugh, written by the very funny Kevin DuPanto, that begins:
Dear Rush,
It’s my great hope that some of your listeners find a way to get this letter to you, or that it makes it to “Snerdley” and finds its way into your hands. I don’t think even you understand just how much damage Obama has done to the Democrat Party — to the point where formerly lifelong Democrats like myself, and everyone here at HillBuzz.org, are actively working to expose the party and literally burn it to the ground for the good of the country.
None of this is being reported in the media, but a Civil War in the Democrat ranks has been raging since May 31st, 2008…a date every Hillary Clinton supporter knows well, because that was the date of the Democrat Rules & Bylaws Committee Meeting where Howard Dean (then-DNC Chair), Donna Brazile, and scores of other Kool-Aid slurping Obama flunkies took off their masks and revealed the full extent of the Leftist coup that had taken over the party. This was the day when the DNC took delegates Hillary Clinton won in Michigan away from her and handed them to Obama (despite the fact he wasn’t even on the primary ballot in that state, because he removed his name when his campaign realized he’d come in third in that race).
May 31st, 2008 was a day when Hillary “babes” (as you call us sometimes) like us flew to Washington in large numbers to stand outside the Marriott near the National Zoo, where this Rules & Bylaws Committee Meeting was held, to shout for the DNC to count all the votes and operate the nominating process fairly — but they refused. The anger over that day has never abated. In fact, it’s grown considerably since then.
This was the determining factor in millions of us leaving the Democrat Party for good. This was the day when the P.U.M.A. movement began — in response to Donna Brazile’s calls for “party unity” following the Rules & Bylaws Committee Meeting, we “Hillary babes” said “Party Unity My A$$” (or People United Means Action, depending on how you want to phrase it). Exit polls showed 8 million PUMA voted Republican for the first time in our lives in the fall of 2008…casting ballots for McCain/Palin (and in truth, mainly for Palin, whom we support, and not to a small degree because she receives many of the same attacks lobbed at Hillary Clinton all these years)….
Go to Hillbuzz.org to read the entire letter.
“Reverse Operation Chaos is in full swing…has been for some time! Democrats aren’t just toast; they are burnt toast!
Out of curiosity I went to Limbaughs website and listened to his radio show this morning and found this information to be true. (Neither of which I have ever done before.) His website, under the Reverse Operation Cause link has a transcript worth reading, and his radio show today is all about it.
This answers my question of just how this unknown got to be our president, but brings up biggers question for this election and 2012. With all the voter fraud, how will we ever know if the candidate with the most votes actually won, and what will all the democrats who vote republican this year do in 2012?
With the democrats in control of so many position of authority is there anything in place to validate the voting process besides challenges after Nov. 2? Judges will allow recount for election results that are close, but they wont if the count is not. All of the republicans and all the democrats voting republican may still not be accurately reflected.
This is very disturbing and a huge wakeup to what our country has become and where it is headed if we dont get it turned around.
Excellent!
This Goya painting comes to mind …

I really don’t get these people. I don’t see how so many Clinton supporters could look at both Obama and Palin and say, “If we can’t have Hillary, Sarah will have to do.” Obama’s positions overlap far more with Clinton’s than McCain/Palin’s do. This seems like a bitter, unserious agenda to me, driven more by resentment than any desire to build a better country.
Peggy: “With all the voter fraud, how will we ever know if the candidate with the most votes actually won…”
Poll watchers and lawyers from both parties are on the job but in reality in some cases we won’t know…Al Franken for instance. But all we can do is the best we can do today…and persist! As water and wind erode and chaffe we must be tenacious in our efforts to root out the underhanded and unworthy!
“…and what will all the democrats who vote republican this year do in 2012?”
Some of the people on Hillbuzz seem to be genuinely turned off by the Democrat Party. I imagine it will depend on whether that party can undergo a transformation or not. One way or the other they at least seem to be committed to honesty and integrity which they will take with them however they vote. These are Hillary supporters and she is a committed Democrat…will she try to position herself as a “new” Democrat? It should be an interesting two years. I can’t imagine Hillary giving up her socialist tendencies…she was the author of the first big health care takeover. She was a follower of saul Alinsky. The author of the Hillbuzz letter was turned off by the Saul Alinsky tactics…oh my….we’ll see.
Politics sure isn’t a game for the faint of heart!
Chris: “This seems like a bitter, unserious agenda to me, driven more by resentment than any desire to build a better country.”
Have you watched the videois not, “We Will Not Be Silenced”? The people that were interviewed have some pretty damning things to say about the Obama machine and their tactics. It’s long but when you have time worth viewing.
The link between hillary and Palin that they share the same agenda…it is that they were both slammed by a powerful, organized political machine, and a fawning, complicit media, in an unsportsmanlike, and frankly criminal, manner. THIS SHOULD OFFEND ALL AMERICANS.
Wake up Chris…this is what all of the outrage is about!
Pie…how vivid! And right on.
Good story Tina, nice find.
“The link between hillary and Palin that they share the same agenda…it is that they were both slammed by a powerful, organized political machine, and a fawning, complicit media, in an unsportsmanlike, and frankly criminal, manner. THIS SHOULD OFFEND ALL AMERICANS.”
Both have been victims of sexist treatment, true. And I have been offended by some of the sexist things said about Palin, as well as the conspiracy theories about her child, Trig. The people who do that stuff are no better than birthers, in my view.
However, I still don’t see the logical leap that takes a Clinton supporter from acknowledging the fact that Palin has been a victim of sexist treatment, to supporting Palin for V.P. and beyond. You may get my sympathy for being treated badly, but it’s not going to get you my vote.
What I find really absurd and hypocritical is that these former Clinton supporters are now aligning themselves with Rush Limbaugh–a man whose remarks on Hillary and her family are up there with the most vicious, disgusting political attacks to ever poison the airwaves. Remember the Vince Foster “controversy?” Remember when Rush called Chelsea the White House dog? If these people were actually concerned about unscrupulous political tactics, they would not be casting their lot in with Rush Limbaugh.
This makes me really doubt their legitimacy. Hillary Clinton seems happy to work with the Obama administration. I’m sure she considers Obama more of a friend than she will ever consider Limbaugh, a man who spent the majority of the 90s accusing her of everything from plotting a socialist takeover to staging an actual assassination on Vince Foster. Not to mention the sexist language he often employed to describe her.
It honestly makes me wonder if these people ever even really supported Clinton, or if they are just pretending to now in order to discredit the Democratic* party.
*Another thing that makes me doubt their legitimacy is that the author of that letter calls it the “Democrat party.” If he thinks that’s what it’s called, I’m not sure I believe he ever was a member of the DemocratIC party.
Chris: “However, I still don’t see the logical leap that takes a Clinton supporter from acknowledging the fact that Palin has been a victim of sexist treatment, to supporting Palin for V.P. and beyond. You may get my sympathy for being treated badly, but it’s not going to get you my vote.”
From the letter: “The reason so many of us support Governor Palin is not just because we see the same Alinksy assaults being waged upon herbut the woman is pitch-perfect in outlining exactly why Obama and the Left are wrong, and why Democrats under Obama are dangerous to have in elected office.
They love the country, Chris. They have witnessed first hand the corruption in the Democrat Party and the socilist agenda that will kill the American dream. What more do you need to know? If Palin does by some twist of events turn out to be the Rep candidate in 2012 they would choose her above anyone that comes out of this same Democrat machine which they cannot see as transforming by that time: “I know you talk about a Hillary 2012 but Rush, as much as I love Hillary Clinton, and as much as I worked my heart out for her in 2008, theres no way that even she can repair the damage Obama has done to the party. Certainly not by 2012. MAYBE the Clintons and their supporters can purge the Obama lunatics from the party by 2016but I doubt even that will happen.”
It would be a waste of time to discuss the rest of your thoughts; your animosity creates an impenetrable wall.
I guess I just don’t see how anything Obama has done is that much further to the left than what Hillary proposed she would do if she were in office. The healthcare plan passed by Obama–usually the first thing pointed to as an example of extreme leftist socialism–is more moderate than what he and Hillary both originally favored.
There is simply much more agreement between Clinton and Obama than Clinton and Palin. Clinton and Obama probably agree on about 90% of the issues. I don’t know if Clinton and Palin agree on anything.
This is why I have trouble taking this (very small) movement seriously.
Was anything I wrote about Rush Limbaugh’s treatment of Hillary Clinton incorrect? You’re right I have animosity towards this man. He’s the worst thing to ever happen to mature, reasonable political discourse in this country.
Chris: “There is simply much more agreement between Clinton and Obama than Clinton and Palin. Clinton and Obama probably agree on about 90% of the issues. I don’t know if Clinton and Palin agree on anything.”
Chris I agree with you. Obama and Clinton have a lot more in common but I’m surprised you don’t get it. Ideology and issues are not the only things that people consider when choosing political affiliation or support. You seem to be a person of strong morals and ethics, yet you cannot identify with a group that has witnessed the corruption, from top to bottom, that runs through this party and you remain loyal even as the evidence continues to pile up.
When the Clintons were in the White House CNN was top news dog with ABC, CBS, NBC running along in tandem. They couldnt ignore these problems but they certainly did their best to spin the stories to favor the Democrats just as they do now. There was no viable alternative news source; there was no internet or blogs and Rush was a lone voice nationally. The following he has since built and the alternative voices he has inspired have leveled the playing field.
While it is true politics is a tough game and at times a dirty game, and while it’s true that individuals within both parties at times let power go to their heads and do despicable things as individuals, it is not true that “everybody does it” nor is it true that both parties are exactly the same and equally corrupt.
“Was anything I wrote about Rush Limbaugh’s treatment of Hillary Clinton incorrect?”
Let’s just say that if you knew the man you would better understand why those things, as part of a much bigger discussion, have a different meaning than what they seem in terms of Rushs character. Rush made the remark about Chelsea while he was talking about the way the press sheltered her as opposed to the way they treated the children of Republican presidents. There is always a much greater point being made when Rush makes outrageous statements. He uses absurd examples and illustrations to make the greater point. (He later apologized for the Chelsea remark, by the way, and never did it again to my knowledge.)
The “conspiracy” surrounding the Vince Foster affair was not started by Rush. The Foster incident and investigation was in the news so of course he discussed it. There was a lot of controversy with big questions that were not being answered…and still have not been answered. What were in those files that Hillary’s secretary quickly secreted out of VF office that morning? Why was the testimony given by the Park Police and other witnesses in conflict with the official determination? Why, if it was suicide, did he do it and did it have anything to do with those files? I dont think discussing these things or the speculation going on at the time makes Rush wrong or bad. I do think the Clintons odd behavior and secrecy gave the conspiracies energy. As for what Rush has contributed to political discourseyou have no ideaperhaps because you are/were so young or perhaps because you are so solidly certain you are right.
The Clinton’s brought a lot of criminal baggage (along with nefarious characters) with them to Washington and a lot of the dirty laundry spilled into the news. Rush discusses and analyzes current events, mostly in the area of politics. HE DOES NOT DRAW CONCLUSIONS THAT CANNOT BE PROVEN. He’s very careful about that. He does offer an opinion as speculation from time to time but he makes it clear that it is just speculation.
The Clintons record is amazingly fraught with legal problems. This might be a good time to review some of that record. The following represents only a sampling of things that went on during their term in DC (and before). The website is unknown but the material is all part of the official record:
