Liberal VFW Appointees Kicked Off Committee

by Jack Lee (with thanks to O.V. at Gate)

First it was the AARP, their members were fed up with the liberals that had hijacked their good name and used their control to expressed many liberal opinions and support for socialists that riled the greater majority of members. Now it’s the VFW’s turn to root out the lefties.

Their (VFW) political actions committee has been suspended due to too many angry letters from members complaining about their liberal socialist policies. Thety hated the endorsements from the VFW PAC. The people and issues on the left are not at all what the vets fought for; they fought for a free, democratic America that was in step with the ideals of the founding fathers.

The growing discontent with the VFW endorsements of such liberal frauds as Pelosi, Boxer and Reid finally reached the boiling point and something had to be done and their Commander sure did it!

Read this letter from the VFW’s Commander in Chief. It will make you proud!

“I have reviewed the Political Action Committee (PAC) Board of Directors’ response to our request to rescind this year’s Congressional endorsements. I disagree with their assessment. It is now evident to most of the VFW leadership, both National and especially the departments, that the VFW has been subjected to extreme negative publicity throughout the nation, and the recent endorsement decisions have, in fact, harmed the VFW’s reputation and future ability to fulfill our mission. I cannot let this erosion of public support for our great organization continue. The apparent lack of the committee to address these concerns will lead to a proposal by me, as Commander-in-Chief, to amend the by-laws at the 112th National Convention for the purpose of dissolving the PAC. Meanwhile, under the authority granted to me as Commander-in-Chief in section 619 of the VFW National By-Laws and under section 620 of the Manual of Procedure, I am withdrawing all PAC appointments effective October 15, 2010. Accordingly, I’m asking the VFW national council for a vote of “no confidence” in the VFW PAC. Commander-in-Chief Richard L. Eubank Chuck

  1. CLOVA says:

It is my understanding that the VFW’s Commander-in-Chief took a lot of grief when the PAC endorsed Boxer over Carly. Carly has many veterans heavily envolved with her campaign and they were very upset because so many of Boxer’s votes have been against veteran’s issues and those actively on the line today.

That is absolutely correct. The Boxer endorsement by the VFW was the last straw for many of it’s members. They were outraged that this anti-military kook would be endorsed, it sure doesn’t represent the feelings of the overwhelming majority of vets.
