GREEN BAY PACKERS WIN SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!! …………..HAVING BEEN BORN AND RAISED IN THE STATE OF WISCONSIN AND BEING A PACKER FAN SINCE AN EARLY AGE AND HAVING ATTENDED PACKER GAMES AT LAMBEAU FIELD DURING THE 70’S AND NOW LIVING IN THE CHICO,CA. THE CITY THAT PRODUCED THE PRESENT PACKERS QUARTERBACK AND BUTTE JUNIOR COLLEGE ALUM AND HAVING A SON CURRENTLY PLAYING BASEBALL AT THE SAME JUNIOR COLLEGE BRINGS A GREAT DEAL OF SATISFACTION AND PRIDE AND HOPE THAT OTHER ATHLETES WHO LEAVE BUTTE JUNIOR COLLEGE CAN HAVE AS MUCH IF NOT MORE SUCCESS THEN AARON RODGERS!!! WHEN TAKING A DAUGHTER BACK TO WISCONSIN THIS PAST SUMMER AND HAVING THE TIME TO GO UP TO GREEN BAY AND WATCH PRACTICES AND HAVE A “SHOUT OUT” TO AARON TO CONTINUE TO MAKIGN CHICO AND BUTTE JUNIOR COLLEGE PROUD FOR WHAT HE IS DOING AND WILL DO IN THE FUTURE!!! WOW WHAT A GREAT DAY FOR FAMILY FRIENDS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN BOTH CHICO AND GREEN BAY AND ALL THOSE WHO FOLLOW THE PACKERS

You bet congratulations are due to Aaron and the Rodgers family. As residents of Chico and Butte County we can certainly be proud. Also, as residents of California, we can also be very proud of the (lately ignored) fact that Aaron was a great quarterback for the Cal Bears before he was drafted by the Packers.

Aaron starred early in the Cal football renaissance over the past decade which rates as one of the most impressive turnarounds in college football history. Jeff Tedford (known as a Quarterback guru) took over as coach after Cal had won just one game in 2001. The Cal Bears then went on to be ranked among the nation’s top 25 in four of the last seven seasons and in the top 10 at some point in five of the last seven campaigns.

Tedford actually had come to Butte College to recruit another player and spotted Aaron and offered him a chance to play for Cal. Aaron led Cal to bowl games at the end of the 2003 and 2004 seasons, finishing 10-1 in 2004. In the 2004 USC game, he tied an NCAA record with 23 consecutive passes completed in one game.

So as proud residents of Chico, Butte Co. AND Cal-ifornia Congratulations Aaron.

That was a great game! The game was actually better then the commercials for a change. I gotta say whoever hires the “talent” should be fired. That so called music could be used to force terrorists to talk. I am not even going to start on that weird little twit who tortured the Star Spangled Banner.
We should rename a street after Aaron Rodgers, I mean he has actually been to Chico and done something positive for Chico. When was the last time Chico was in the national spotlight for something that didn’t make us look stupid?
As a Cowboy’s fan I am happy as can be the Steelers didn’t win a super bowl in Dallas.
A side note keep your eye on Jordan Rodgers, he is the QB for Vanderbilt and from what I can tell is doing a great job.

Cal Bears??? Are they still around? Just kidding….Go Bears!

Loved the game and Aaron and GB winning. Didn’t like the half-time show at all and even got mad when I realized the only Medal of Honor recepient since Vientnam was honored at the end of a commercial break and was standing all alone in the end zone.

Whoever planned that whole entertainment show should be fired.
