A CNS News article this morning highlights questions that Senator David Vitter has asked the president of the US Export-Import Bank that is responsible for issuing the $2 Billion loan that Obama offered Petrobras for exploration. His purpose is to discover how America benefits from this loan and whether investment opportunities were made possible through private conversations (inside information).
Specifically, Vitter now wants to know:
— The name of all U.S. companies that have increased exports based on this loan.
— The specific product exports that have increased based on this loan.
— The return on investment for this loan during the next 5 and 10-year windows.
— The name of all U.S. and foreign investors, including institutional investors, that increased their shareholdings in Petrobras in excess of $50 million within a 6 month period before and after the ExIm loan.
“Spreading the wealth” now defined to include “the rich” and foreign (Marxist) governments?
I have no idea what you’re talking about.
But if that last statement is supposed to be a question, then yes, absolutely, spreading the wealth has always included “the rich” and Marxist governments.
It’s nice to see that maybe someone doing something about it, finally!
So you’re in favor of taking other peoples money, mine and yours, to give to Brazil and George Soros? You must believe that when the transformation is complete you will be one of the pigs that’s more equal. Good for you commrade.
