New Organization Born – Conservative Republicans of California

Breaking news….

Ever since the ugliness at the CRA convention this year and the vindictive purge that followed, coupled to the many personal attacks and even slights and personal attacks on republican legislators, many of the good members said, enough is enough! We can’t take this BS anymore! We’re gone and IF we have to form our own party to clean up this situation then we will. And guess what? They did!

This is the breaking news….I’m told a new, friendlier, cleaner and hopefully far better run organization has just emerged from the carnage of that ill fated coup that did so much damage to the CRA’s reputation and chased away many good conservatives.

This new organization (the CRC) is made up of real conservatives who have felt totally disenfranchised for a long time from the old party. They were the people of conscience who could no longer tolerate the insider manipulations, the power trips, the low election tactics, the backing of RINO’s, etc., for them this was just too much and they had to leave.

Now the new CRC has emerged to restore the vision that was lost in the last power struggle for control of the old CRA. These folks want to focus their attention on rebuilding their ranks by using ethical behavior as an example for others to follow. They want to create unity by being honest brokers and standing firm on principles and fundamental conservative idealism. At the forefront of their planks are, less taxes, smaller government and more accountability. I sure hope this works, if it doesn’t I fear the GOP in California is toast.

Here is their website if you want to look them over: http://calconservatives.com/

I’ve been told by some of the key organizers of the CRC, that new county units are forming up all over California – this is truly exciting folks!

This peaceful rebellion is just what we needed. It could be the best thing to happen to the State GOP in years.

There are so many conservatives sitting on the sideline or re-registered as independent voters because they couldn’t stand the stupidity and tricksters within the old party ranks. Now they have a home where they can take a stand with like-minded friends and fight for a return to the idealism that founded this party and the nation. I wish them well!

Hope those involved in the Tea Party will check it out too.

Works for me. The GOP in this state has been screwed up for years. This can’t make it any worse and may be the dawn of a new era.

    Yes, it is exciting!

There is an old Chinese curse, “May you live in exciting times.” I’ll take that over the status quo for the GOP in this state anytime.

And now for something completely different …

I love the smell of political napalm in the morning.

“Democrats doubt Barack Obama’s reelection chances
President Barack Obama is facing mounting doubts within his own party about his re-election prospects, with fellow Democrats beginning to ask if Hillary Clinton would have made a better president.”

    Jack,

I’m not sure it’s a great idea to start splintering the party just before the next election cycle. But if this is going to happen it opens up new questions.

When will these groups start meeting? Will all conservatives be allowed to join? If not, who will determine membership? I’m sure our conservative readers would like to know when and where the first meeting would be held and how to sign up, assuming they’re all allowed.
