Big victories were achieved by Republican candidates yesterday in special . Republican Bob Turner won in New York, taking the empty Weiner seat for the GOP. In Nevada the winner was, Mark Amodei who won his contest handily. We’re hearing that Democrats are in shock…the seat in New York being a particularly troubling marker for the coming 2012 election.

Chuck Schummer tried to spin the win in New York saying it was one of the most conservative districts of New York but it’s a tough sell since he is a former representative for the district and Democrats have held the seat for decades:

AP

NEW YORK (AP) — It sounded improbable on the surface that a New York City congressional district where Democrats have a 3-1 registration edge and have held office for nearly a century could even come close to electing a Republican to the U.S. House.

But voter frustration over the sour economy and President Barack Obama’s policies made the improbable a reality, as a Republican political novice, Bob Turner, scored an upset victory in a special election Tuesday over David Weprin, a Democratic assemblyman from a prominent local political family.

Wow…anything can happen between now and next November but as of today, it doesn’t look good for Obama and the Democrats.

This is really great news. I cant wait until election day 2012, I get up early and stay up late. This year I think it will be an early night. I love this stuff! Oh and we who post here need to watch out. I guess Obama has some sort of bullshit web site so whiners can inform on their fellow Americans. So let me just say, Obama can kiss my @ss! Libby, Q and the other two brown shirts please do not spell my name wrong. Cowards and losers the lot of them.

This is encouraging. Bob Turner in New York won by an astonishing eight points. Democrats have held that seat since 1923 and so, of course, they are trying to spin that it was a loss in a tough district!

The last I checked Mark Amodei was ahead by 20 points! He beat Kate Marshall in her home county by 10 points.

Expect Democrats and Obama surrogates to get even nastier between now and this time next year. We taint seen nothin’ yet.

A group (or person) known as Misfit Politics skewers Obama’s newly launched “AttackWatch”. Check it out, it’s hilarious.

Toby In cas you missed it Rush repored today that Ann Coulter submitted her own column to that bull#*%# website and a retired teacher is ready to turn herself in for flipping the president off in traffic as he visited her state. Rush suggested he share the blame because she was under the influence of his new product, Two If by TEA!

The long slog to next November is going to be serious…but also hillarious!

  5. Tina says:

Pie you got that right…the more vulnerable they are the nastier they get…and the funnier!

  6. Toby says:

I spit coffee out my nose over the lady who flipped off Obama and his traffic jamming motorcade.

  7. Toby says:

Pie, ty for the link that was great. I see a problem for the brown shirts, they will take it as real and be confused as to why we are laughing. lol

Re: “I’m not laughing at your callous disregard for human life. I don’t think it is the least bit funny.”

    1) Callous disregard for human life? What utter nonsense.

    2) After reading about QC’s call for gun violence in the E-R I checked his blog for myself. QC has a lot of gall making this sort of statement especially after what he wrote for all to see. Talk about an oblivious, stoned cold hypocrite. But then, that is all QC has, or will ever have, gall and abject hypocrisy.

    Dr. Demented — FAIL

  9. Pie Guevara says:

I heard through the grapevine of an unconfirmed report that Ann Coulter has turned herself into the brown nosing brown shirts of Obama’s AttackWatch.

  10. Steve says:

    HIP HIP HOORAY!

Ah New York, if a Republican can make it there, they can make it anywhere. Come on everyone, I know you can hear that old Sinatra tune in your heads now, go ahead and sing along. You know you want too.

A republican winning in a strong democrat district, held by liberal Anthony Weiner for 14 years. A district with 40% Jewish voters (you know, that demographic that democrats have abandoned?).

America is waking up from a really bad dream, and they’re angry. 2012 will not be pretty for democrats. We’re going to take back our freedom, our money, our future, and OUR COUNTRY! Get used to it.

    Start spreadin the news….

    And a Catholic to boot!

Still haven’t seen the turnout and final vote numbers.

  12. Libby says:

Uh … I think the retired school teacher … and Tina … are having paranoid delusions of grandeur.

Did the SS come knocking at her door? No.

In fact … nobody gives a flying whathaveyou.

    Geez, people.
