CNN’s “The 1600 Report” reports that, although plans have been delayed, solar panels and a solar water heater will be installed at the White house:
On October 5, 2010 Energy Secretary Steven Chu and Council of Environmental Quality Chairwoman Nancy Sutley announced a plan to install solar panels and a solar water heater on the roof of the White House. In a statement, the two called the installation a “demonstration project showing that American solar technologies are available, reliable, and ready for installation in homes throughout the country.”
Hmmm…now if the president would just realize that before a significant number of Americans can follow his lead on alternative energy in their homes they will need greater certainty about the future…homes that are not under water…and…JOBS!
Can it be any more evident that this man has never really had to work for a single thing in his entire life?
