One of the few things I miss about Pennsylvania is Fall. Going out with my dad on Saturday mornings in the old Ford and chopping firewood. Funny thing is I looked out the window this morning and the wife said to me, looks like Winter is here early. I told her this is what Fall looks like back East, crisp and sunny.
We get some color here but nothing like they do.
I have similar memories from my early years in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and New Mexico. Bright blue skies, crisp air, and all that color against the deep greens of the pines.
Hmmmm…now I’m really ready for turkey!
Sunset magazine years ago listed Hwy 49 and 395 thru Walker Canyon as places to see the colors out here. Been there and they are pretty, but nothing like the north-east colors.
Lovely. Now shared with friends and family. Thank you Peggy.
Peggy you put a smile on the faces a lot of people today with those great pics…it’s why I like this place, we never know what’s goin to turn up.
You’re all very welcome. Glad you enjoyed them as much as I did.
