Thanks for adding the link, Jack, I was curious.
Hopefully this will spark some activity for many companies and builders across America. This builder found a way to make building American work; I only hope he gets those houses sold! It can’t be considered a great success, at least in this economy, unless he does.
Tina, that’s the bottom line isn’t it… consumers have to participate to make buy American work and I sure hope they do. There was a time when everybody checked the label to make sure it was made in America…now almost nobody checks. They look at the price and they forget everything else. I’m guilty too, I drive a Jag and a Mercedes, (sorry Detroit) but, I try to offset it with my Buick, my Ford and my GMC and best of all, my Harley…..er, uh, with all its foreign parts.
Sent it to everyone in my email contact list, with some in the construction trade. Just got home from having dinner with my family and one liked it so much she sent it on to even more in the construction trade.
Just for fun, I’m going to go get a roll of Gorilla tape or glue for the guys stockings.
