I stand with Rush Limbaugh and appreciate the massive contribution that he has made to the conservative movement and our nation over the last 25 years. Rush has apologized. But the radical left will never accept it because they despise him and want him off the air. I condemn attempts by radical left-wing organizations and the media to censor Rush and his commonsense conservative message.

Thanks for putting this on the front page, Jack!

I went one step beyond and emailed Proflowers.com. I told them they were being used and had by the Left and the MSM. I informed them that 90% of their business is because of Rush Limbaugh and that I would never do business with them again. I used them twice this past Christmas and they managed to #uck up the little things like no card telling people who sent them the flowers. I have a feeling I am not alone in my feelings or email to them.
I have no idea why Rush apologized, he shouldn’t have. He better than anyone knows how it never works. When do you ever hear apologies from the Left?

I worry not about Limbaugh. He will survive. In six weeks the tremulous dorks sluts who fear the left and buy ad time will be back.

I remember a big apology from Anthony Weiner for sending sleazy pictures of his erection to Twitter users. What a complete d-bag that guy was.

Interesting. Do you suppose companies that do shoddy business advertise via Rush because … Rush’s audience is somewhat less than discriminating?

I’m sorry … you shouldn’t provoke me like that.

  7. Toby says:

About the only thing I remember about Anthony Weiner were several attempts to deny it happened and then several attempts to shift the blame of any wrong doing. If some kind of apology came after that it was purely because he ran out of wiggle room.

  8. Toby says:

Getting lectured to about discerning taste by someone who votes for the likes of Obama, Reid and Pelosi is laughable.

  9. Toby says:

I just saw a headline saying Investors are fleeing Carbonite after announcing they were pulling their ad’s from Rush. They are another company who wouldn’t have a pot to %iss in if it were not for Rush Limbaugh.

  10. Tina says:

Toby if you recall, Snapple was a small local company before choosing to become a Rush Sponsor. Advertising on his show made it possible for them to go national and made the owners a lot of money.

I think Sleep Train can thank Rush for the same kind of success.

Both sides in this issue have the ability to pull support. Some of these companies may regret their hasty retreat from the Rush Limbaugh Show.

  11. Princess says:

Just read that Bill Maher wants the left to accept Rush’s apology. Might be because he stuck his foot in his mouth a few times and didn’t like the HBO boycott people were organizing because of him. LOL

  12. Toby says:

Bill Maher should be the poster boy for retro-active abortions.

  13. Peggy says:

There’s an organized boycot against HBO? Great!

I think one should also be done for the “hit” piece coming out about Sarah Palin. I think everyone who subscribes to HBO should cancel their subscrition and let them know why, and everyone should boycot all of the product sponsors for the show.

It’s proven organized boycots have worked against conservatives, it’s now time we need to give the left-wing MSM a dose of their own medecine.

  14. Pie Guevara says:

Maher has a few apologies to make of his own, but I don’t expect any to be forthcoming. The always vulgar, profane, and silly Maher isn’t man enough and will never be.

Limbaugh made an excellent point though. He should have softened it when he made it. His central point was a valid one — that it is absurd the government should be subsidizing contraception and promoting the death of personal responsibility as enabled by socialist, social engineering manipulators (aka liberal, leftist, nanny-state Democrats).

I know all the usual specious, left wing, knee-jerk arguments that without government subsidizing contraception of sexual activity that there would be “millions” of unwanted children. So don’t you usual suspects even bother parroting that crap to me. To that I have only one thing to say — BULLSHIRT.

There could be an easy test if it were possible. That test will never happen. Not as long as there are people who think they are entitled to feed at the public trough demand that they get their genital jollies on the taxpayer’s dime. I am tempted to tell such people, including Sandra Fluke, to go screw themselves, but that is precisely their problem to begin with, no?

  15. Tina says:

It turns out that not all of the advertisers that have supposedly “left Rush” are Rush advertisers. Local stations sell air time. Rush sells his own air time. some station ads get played between segments too. So some of this boycotting is hurting the station rather than Rush.

Also Rush announced this morning he has three new advertisers and a few more that are in the works.

He was pleased at the positive support he has gotten on the web too.

  16. Pie Guevara says:

Folks who know me are aware that I am not much of a Limbaugh fan. Nevertheless this whole Sandra Fluke thing got me listening again.

Fun fact that got me to laugh out loud —

Evidently Limbaugh has lost 28 out of 18,000 advertisers as a result of the Fluke thing.

    OUCH!

  17. Peggy says:

That’s great to hear, Pie. Thanks for letting us know. I hope he even gets some new sponsors if he has any available air time.

Media Matters … not. Make that attack fleas. Blood sucking, parasitic, George Soros funded attack fleas. A visit to Petco can solve that annoyance. Send Obama a flea collar.

Evidently free speech is again prosecutable. Death threats from ER protected lunatics like Quentin Colgan are not prosecutable, but Limbaugh is. Welcome to life from the left. What a life.
