Oh my god it has gotten so bad that heroes are willing to tear down the institutions that have enrolled us into financial slavery.
On the contrary the dwindling old tea baggers are trying to protect the wealth that they acquired during a time of prosperity several decades ago.
The banks pulled a pump and dump scheme on all of us, then got bailed out after everyone lost their homes. The American people own less of America now than ever. Be mad at the banks. They own D.C. and they control every aspect of our lives and they are starving us out to make way for a cheaper less regulated work force overseas. You don’t care about us though. You just want cheaper land taxes for all the land you own or you want people on welfare to starve to death so that you don’t have to pay as much small business tax. I can’t really feel sorry for tea party cry babies because they exploited the good out of this country and stuck my generation with the bill.
Rex, how many banks failed and went belly up never to return during the Great Recession? Look it up, the number may surprise you. A few mega banks got the bailouts and I thought that was wrong, but it happened…blame Obama for most of that. As for the Tea Party, they have been at it for going on 4 years now. Thats a long, long time for a come from nowhere all volunteer group to last. They still draw some big crowds, but apathy coupled to frustration and anger with Obama have taken their toll, not to mention the lies by the far left that go on 24/7….it’s all hurt the TP. OWS was a knock off by the left and their encampments also had an effect on the TP’s clean protest gathering. People were turned off by those OWS protesters and turned off for all protests good or bad. As for the pump and dump, that term is not appropriate to the real estate bubble. Try liar loans to unqualified home buyers, encouraged by your government, and pyramid schemes for conmen. That’s more accurate. Rex, we’re all in the same life boat, we gotta pull together because if we don’t we’re going nowhere.
Rex the leadership of the mob that would tear down banks are a group of radical progresives that don’t give a fig about you, me, or America. Their goal is to destroy this nation and replace it with an ignorant socialist utopian dream. Do you really want to be part of the masses that work so that elitists like the criminal Bill Ayers can live a life of luxery, power, and control. Bread lines and prison or death for objectors is the future for the masses in utopia, my friend.
The Tea Party’s goal is restoring and saving the United States of America, a country where the pie of opportunity is not limited but can grow and grow. This means anyone can work and grow wealthy. It means that the wealthy invest and provide opportunity for others. Rich bankers and corporate heads are not taking anything from you they are fascilitating opportunities that benefit anyone who participates.
Politicians, particularly progressive politicians, have been making government bigger for nearly 100 years. This big government intrusion into our lives and our freedoms is what set the table for corporatism, fraud, abuse, union alliance (union corporatism) and the terrible conditions that caused bank failures and the housing bubble. The enemy is big government and those who want to grow it even more.
Nobody wants anyone to starve. Pull your head out man, America is the most giving, charitable nation in the world. We can’t be charitable, not in the private sector nor in the public sector, if we don’t have a vibrant economy. NOT EVERYONE IN BANKING (Corporate America) IS A CROOK! If bankers break the law they should be prosecuted, if the laws are causing problems for bankers and business they should be changed, if politicians are making crooked deals they should be exposed, prosecuted and replaced with more honorable servants. It’s up to us to be aware and make changes.

You keep thinking that way and you will get stuck with the bill. The Tea Party is made up of people in my generation who are attempting to oust those in our generation that made the mess. Inform yourself more fully or parish at your own ignorant hand.
I can’t wait to see the movie come out. Should be required viewing in high school.
