Rush to Judge – Repent in Leisure

How a story comes out of the gate is often how it will be remembered, despite the facts that follow later. The first cry of racism resonated throughout the black community and spread like wild fire. The mainstream media portrayed the shooter, George Zimmerman, as a racist-white-guy in an orange prison jump suit. The black victim (Trayvon Martin) was shown as a baby faced youngster with sad eyes. President Obama proclaimed, “If I had a son he would look just like Trayvon.” The New Black Panthers dropped their bat swinging at voters long enough to publish wanted “dead or alive” reward posters for the capture of Zimmerman and so it went.

Once Obama had inserted himself, the door was open for the always opportunistic politicians to capture some of that national airtime. They showed up at the Congressional podium wearing hoodies like Trayvon and the Congressional Black Caucus invited the victims family to Washington for some chit chat.

Everybody started wearing hoodies at protest rallies, as black ministers like Jackson and Sharpton decried, they must stop shooting our children! It was mandatory that Zimmerman must be arrested for a show trial, such was the pressure coming from liberal America – and the Obama Administration did not disappoint them, he sicked the Dept. of Justice on the entire Sanford Police Department, thanks to their failure to hold Zimmerman.

Then the facts started to surface above all the mob noise.

Facts can be so inconvenient, especially when much of America seemed to be heavily invested in raising Trayvon Martin to martyrdom. Trayvon was on his way to being the iconic victim of injustice against every black in the USA since the first slave arrived…and then the facts start emerging and they ruin the whole gig!

Everything Zimmerman tried to tell us started being corroborated by evidence and witnesses. Yes, he did have a broken nose, yes, he did have lacerations on the back of head, yes, he did have facial contusions and yes…he was on the ground, on his back and screaming for help while Trayvon sat on top of him, throwing punches like an MMA fighter. And one shot was fired at point blank range into Martin’s heart and it killed him instantly. Oh, there’s more, but with just this much information a reasonable advocate for Zimmerman has to conclude this “complicates” things.

Many of America’s most respected legal experts have come forward to say, there is no case against Zimmerman and the charges should be dropped. That’s a far cry from the lynching the mob wanted.

Given the new evidence, “the prosecutor is at least guilty of willful blindness,” says Alan Dershowitz, from Harvard Law. “Based on the available facts, it’s a huge overreach,” said Miami defense attorney John Priovolos, a former prosecutor, who said the prosecution will be hard pressed to show Zimmerman had “ill-will, spite, malice or hatred” needed to prove a “depraved mind.”

What’s left to get Zimmerman on, the drugs in his system? No, that was Martin with the THC. How about the getting out of his car part to observe a suspicious person in his neighborhood? The last time I checked that wasn’t a crime, or even an element of a crime, but if that’s all you got I guess that where you focus now, because the rest of your case just got “complicated.”

“…they must stop shooting our children!”

As we have often said, these guys need to start making speeches in their own communities!

The number of criminal attacks made by angry black folks against whites because racism was so irresposnibly ginned up in the non-case is a travesty. Our President, our media, and the once respected organizations that jumped on the bandwagon should hang their heads in shame.

  2. Question says:

You people are racists, too. This whole blog is about race. You have bought into the MSMs playbook.
When the case is tried, Zimmerman will be convicted.
Zimmerman should never have left the car. Once he left the car, he lost any argument about standing his ground.
I will leave you know with the last word. Feel free to post irrelevancies and insults!
