Election Day Today – Low Voter Turnout Expected

by Jack

The voter turnout in California today is expected to be light. Polling shows it could be as low as 35%, my personal guess is more optimistic, I think it will be around 40%. 35% would be a record low and that’s not good for anybody.

Well, if it is a record low turnout, then all votes count a little more, guess that’s something positive. Imagine if 95% of the republicans turned out in a low turnout election. That would dramatically alter many Assembly and Senate races and it would push us away from having that democrat super majority that currently looks inevitable. And you know what a super majority will bring us, right? Yep, more taxes and right away. There’s no way to block it. Whatever the Dems want they can get, it’s like giving Sacramento a blank check.

Speaking as a republican voter and a realist, the demographics are definitely against us! The PAC and Union money are against us 2 to 1, the mainstream media is against us and the only thing we have in abundance is heart. Well, hang in there, we’ve got to keep trying. Maybe some day people will wake up.

Imagine if 90% of everyone turned out no matter what their party affiliation. We just fought two wars to continue our freedom and everyone who wastes it by not voting should be ashamed of themselves. No matter who you vote for to not vote is shameful.

Shame on every person who stays home today.

Agree. It’s hard to imagine that so many Americans have failed to grasp the importance of this right. We need to do a better job of educating about our heritage and the blessings of liberty.

The new forever stamps feature the flag and one of the following words: Freedom, Liberty, Justice, Equality.

I know you don’t mean those of us who voted a couple of weeks ago by mail, so I won’t take it that way.
