Officials have linked forensic evidence from the 2004 murder scene of a Juilliard student to the scene of a recent Occupy Wall Street subway vandalism, NBC 4 New York has learned.
Investigators have connected DNA evidence from the scene of Sarah Fox’s murder in Inwood Hill Park eight years ago to DNA collected at the scene of an Occupy Wall Street subway station vandalism in March.
Fox, 21, was found nude and strangled in the park in May 2004, days after she disappeared during a daytime jog. Investigators recovered her pink CD player in the woods just yards from her bod
Clearly she was a 1%er and had it coming. This story gives our usual suspects hope and reason to get out of bed. They will have a little spring in their zombie like shuffle today. A little extra snivel in their smirks. There will be fist bumps all around the old abortion clinic today. They will be insufferable, ok more insufferable because of the justice that was doled out by one of their own.
The good thing is the DNA is a huge step toward to finding the killer. You would think anyone with an ounce of character who was involved in that vandalism would be coming forward to give the names of all the people who were there so they police could get this killer. Of course I am thinking like a conservative with old fashioned values…
what does this mean?
Wondering: It means that someone left their DNA at the scene of a vandalism and a murder. Multiple people were at the scene of the vandalism, so if one of them comes forward and identifies who was there, the cops can catch a killer.
Jack, you just jumped on the “Occupy”, and didn’t look into this at all, did you?
First of all, I’m mightly impressed. A chain used to hold open an emergency entrance to the subway by the occupiers was tested for DNA. There’s your tax dollars at work!
But they don’t say what sort of DNA … spit, hair?
How many people do you suppose made use of this illegal entrance to the subway?
And how on earth do you suppose that the PD is supposed to trace the murderous user?
Fascinating, … but pointless.
I hope they catch the psycho. Eight years is too long for for this killer to go free. Eight seconds is too long for this killer to go free.
Toby, that was a very ignorant and callous comment. Why would you think any of us would be happy over a murder of an innocent young woman? That’s really sick of you to say that.
Jack, I am curious, is checking for DNA common in investigations of vandalism? Or did police already suspect a connection between the vandalism and the murder? What kind of vandalism was it?
Chris, I say it because you and yours defend your right to murder truly innocent people by the trainload. So in short, GFYS!
Hell, it could be DNA from the cop who bagged the chain for processing.
