It is impossible to miss the sincerity of this endorsement. She is a Democrat minority woman and her voice, her experience, her endorsement is HUGE!

And this is the real problem with the noise of the left. They have been selling snake oil for decades. They have painted a portrait of the character of conservatives that is deliberately false, ugly, hateful…and completely WRONG!

Conservatives believe in the power of EVERY individual to make something of his life. Conservatives believe we are at our best best when we help each other personally and when we give of ourselves and from our purses personally as we can…not through some inefficient, uncaring government program. We believe that every person wants to build a secure life for himself and his family but not everyone has the same dream, vision, or ambition…and that’s wonderful! That is what makes America a diverse nation! We are a melting pot of free people living free and contributing according to our own values and ability! We are free in America to live our lives as we choose and to keep the fruits of our labors. We are free to work, to volunteer, to share. And we are also responsible as free men and women to meet the demands we make on ourselves as free people.

It’s time we started teaching our young people how fortunate they are to be free. It’s time we started reducing our dependence on government, especially at the federal level. Its time to look in our immediate environment and ask ourselves, “How can I make a difference in my own family and my own back yard?”

    Americans are free…and conservative. Celebrate!

Ms. Edmonds speech is one of those that really touched me the last day of the RNC and to believe that Romney is not only better then Obama, he is who our country needs to leads us back to the great nation we used to be.

Hopefully, hell utilize her in her field of education to return control to the state and local level and not in DC any more.

Conservative believe in equal opportunity and individual achievement, while far-left progressives believe in collective opportunity and shared outcome. Conservative need to do a better job of explaining the difference and the better life they could have not living off the taxes paid for by those who are successful.

The RNC needs to use Ms. Edmonds and the other minorities speeches to get the truth out to offset the lies being spread by the liberal media.

Herman Cain recently took offense to a NBC poll that said zero blacks support Romney. Hes now taking action to prove the survey wrong.

Black Romney backers: An army of zeroes?

By KATHY HOEKSTRA – An NBC/WSJ poll says Romney’s black support is zero percent. I’ve seen a lot of zeroes in Tampa.

The Tea Party-inspired Unity Rally 2012 was designed to fire an opening serve into the heart of the GOP Convention in Tampa, prior to its Isaac-delayed Tuesday start. If the response to Herman Cain’s headline speech at the Sunday night event is any indication of success, then the Republican Party better get poised to emphatically return the serve. The resulting volley would have the potential to increase and energize support for the Romney/Ryan ticket.

Part of the problem up until now has been the party’s inability to articulate much of a message that breaks through the stale liberal talking points, old rhetoric and distractions of the left and their cohorts in the traditional media. Take for instance a recent poll by the Wall Street Journal and NBC which found zero percent of blacks say they’d support Mitt Romney.

Cain took issue with that poll, telling the crowd of 2,000 people, “I support Mitt Romney and I am not a zero!”. He took it further pointing to several enthusiastic black audience members, “You are not a zero! Neither are you… or you… or you!” Cain then invited all of the so-called “zeroes” in the crowd to stand up, which they did with gusto.

Since the Sunday night rally, Cain has repeated this “Zero” meme in nearly all of the media interviews he has done. His message is loud and clear. The big question will be, will anybody hear it? With the near politicization of Tropical Storm Isaac, the relentless buzz about the Thursday night “mystery” speaker and the Republicans’ purported “problem with women” meme, the “zeroes” have been effectively zeroed out in the media.

The Fence Test by Jeff Foxworthy

    Which side of the fence?

If you ever wondered which side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!

If a Republican doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.
If a Democrat doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a Republican is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.
If a Democrat is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a Republican is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Democrat is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a Republican is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Democrat wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a Republican doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Democrats demand that those they don’t like be shut down.

If a Republican is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.
A Democrat non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a Republican decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A Democrat demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a Republican reads this, he’ll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.
A Democrat will delete it because he’s “offended”.

    Well, I forwarded it.
