The Democratic Convention Opens!

(Warning ALL liberal dems…this is just a good natured spoof))

Shown at left is the brand new retractable dome on the convention center in Charlotte, N.C.

On this day, September 4th, the center will be holding thousands of democrat convention [goers] for their 2012 National Convention and it promises to be quite a show.

The democrat party felt this was the perfect place to dump on their foe, Mitt Romney, and also their other foe, the free market economy, as they flush out their own ideas for sharing the wealth.

I love their motto: “We’re the greatest super power on earth and it’s time for a change!”

Well, I think Obama and the Dems have the will and the plan to do it too.

The convention [goers] say they feel right at home here. It’s such a great place to sit and chit…chat, while disgusting new ideas, on pending movements, movements that have them all backed up and ready to go. . . after their number one enema, Mitt Romney.

When President Obama arrives, I’m sure they will all be relieved! And he’s the perfect

6696-obam56-thumb-81x101-6695.jpg

man to relieve them, he will be their man on the throne. . . of democratic power!

Can you imagine, the sites, the sounds, the smells, gosh, just the pent-up excrement that comes with being here? It’s going to be gas! And they get to let it all out over the next 4 days. Wow… this is going to be soooo special, this is what democratic conventions are all about, right? I just hope they don’t engage in smear tactics.

Of course there will be many speeches before President Obama goes on stage…and, well, words can hardly describe what I am feeling, but, let me just sum it up like this, I think this is the perfect facility for the liberal agenda. By the way, I’m just trying my best to be fair and balanced, I sure hope I didn’t sound like a party-pooper?

Yes…I will be watching them, trying to get a handle on their message and then I’ll be pulling for them, count on it!

PS Wonder what the pew poll will have to say about it?

Not really sure what the disclaimer was all about, the flush handle didn’t get installed because the union thugs didn’t get the payoff they required. Who here doesn’t think Charlotte will look like the democrats took a dump on it when they are done?
For about two weeks I have been seeing stories about the democrats can’t get the seats filled to the point they are giving tickets away in bars. Charlotte has a population of 1 3/4 million people and the democrats can’t get 75,000 to go see The Obama circus and his clowns. I do not recall Mitt or the RNC ever having any problems getting legitimate, enthusiastic crowds for our convention.
Now I see Obama is having to bus people in to see him. I wonder what those poor bastards are getting paid to sit on a bus for hours on end? 1 3/4 million people and they have to bus people in? Talk about dropping the kids off at the pool.
Oh and get this. You do not need an ID to vote for the pile but you will need one to see him.
I wonder what the TV ratings for this convention will be? The Dallas Cowboys play the New York Giants weds night prime time on NBC, first regular season game. What do you think will draw bigger numbers?
I am a life long Cowboys fan and I can honestly tell you if the game had been played during the republican convention I would have missed most of the game. If you are not a football fan, this particular match up is a huge game. What were they thinking? LOL
Speaking of games, Let’s Go Giants! (SF Giants). Tina did you see last nights game? OMG what a game!!

  2. J. Soden says:

    This week’s version of the Empty Chair . . . .

  3. Harold Ey says:

LMAO … ‘OMG'(Obama Must Go), Butt finally there is something that Obama did Build, and this is That!. Butt will he acknowledge he had help from the VP of TP who regularly covers his behind with clean up diacritic dribble along with the print media who supply half sheets of truths as well as the Elimination of information.
Truly this is not just another ‘Empty seat’

  4. Tina says:

I did see the game, Toby…the Giants were amazing! They just keep coming through for each other as a team and that is really impressive. Teams in the old days kept their players so they were more likely to play as a team…the Giants have that team feel now and it is very exciting to watch. Kruke and Kuip make it fun to watch too…love those Giants!

And now…on with the bathroom jokes!

(One not so funny event today will be when the debt clock reaches $16,008,927,252,526.86 at 3:37:14 PM GMT) What a way to kick off the Dem convention!

  5. Harriet says:

My husbands daughter and son in law visited this past week-end. Son in law told me he received several invitations to attend the convention.
I though tonly delegates attended, he said he did too, but received them.

I guess it is true that the democrats are trying to fill the seats.

  6. Post Scripts says:

Harriet, it’s true that other than delegates can attend. The delegates get the best seating on the floor and then the seating goes all the way up to the rafters for everyone else. And yes, it is about filling seats and making it look successful.

  7. Peggy says:

You mean the VP with potty-mouth?

  8. Toby says:

I understand the DNC is going to downsize the venue Obama will be speaking at. The DNC is in heated negotiations with a Holiday Inn for the use of their conference room. Not to worry it has one of those room dividers just incase.

  9. Post Scripts says:

Wow…the responses to Nicki Minaj were terrible, unbelievable hate …there’s something seriously wrong with people who talk like that.

  10. Post Scripts says:

Peggy, it makes me sad to think what kind of people we have occupying this country that would engage in such filth. They seem to know no limits, have no respect for others, no civility, no manners, they use foul language, the casually toss out insults hoping for people die, it’s sick.

  11. Peggy says:

I know and agree Jack, but where is the outrage in the MSM like there was with Rush and Aikens? Have you heard anyone speaking out against this? I sure haven’t. What Biggs said he wanted to do to Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. Romney is disgusting!

While this is wrong and unacceptable behavior for anyone, once again the double standard of its ok for the libs to attack conservative women, but not the reverse.

Ive emailed and posted it on Face Book to everyone I know and even they are silent. The media has set the standard and everyone has accepted it.

Hoping and praying the silence will be remembered show up in November.

  12. Chris says:

That is absolutely disgusting, sexist and vile. Nickelodean should fire Jason Biggs immediately. Sometimes people make me sick.

  13. Rachel says:

I think it is so funny how people sit here and talk about how disgusting some democrats comments were against a republican underneath a completely insulting article. When you all so it it is a good natured spoof, when we do it it is an abomination. When you do it you are just speaking the truth. Which may I say is what the whole republican convention was – Obama bashing. That’s what people have been doing ever since he appeared. But it is wrong when it is the other way around. High school drama. Yeah, those are the people I want to lead our country, the ones that are more worried about high school drama then the starving children in this country. The double standard that hateful people uphold is amazing. Discrimination, thinking you are always right. It’s insanity. I am honestly scared for the well being of our country if Mitt Romney wins. And that is no joke.

  14. Post Scripts says:

Rachel, do you live in a bubble or what? Cause whatever bashing we do here is lightweight compared to our counterparts. Have you not seen the disgusting hate speech, the voter intimidation, the class warfare, the racial insults, the bashing of the religious right, the exploiting of emotions… “oh, they’re starving our poor, the GOP want’s to pollute the air, the water, the soil..” Rachel, Rachel…you must be very young and very naive to say what you said in light of all the evidence out here about left-wingers bent on undermining your freedoms…get a clue girl!

  15. Tina says:

Democrats have earned the disdain that is embedded in spoofs like this one. The tactics used by those who run the Democrat Party come from a book called Rules for Radicals written by a man with radical Marxist ideas whose goal was to destroy America:

    http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=2314

Born to Russian-Jewish parents in Chicago in 1909, Saul Alinsky was a Communist/Marxist fellow-traveler who helped establish the tactics of infiltration — coupled with a measure of confrontation — that have been central to revolutionary political movements in the United States in recent decades. He never joined the Communist Party but instead, as David Horowitz puts it, became an avatar of the post-modern left.

Though Alinsky is rightfully understood to have been a leftist, his legacy is more methodological than ideological. He identified a set of very specific rules that ordinary citizens could follow, and tactics that ordinary citizens could employ, as a means of gaining public power. His motto was, The most effective means are whatever will achieve the desired results.

He associated with Al Capone and dedicated his book to the greatest deceiver of all: SATAN!

Rules for radicals includes strategies for personally destroying one’s opponent (not just defeating him in a fair contest).

Democrats don’t debate the issues. They seek to win by destroying the reputations of their opponents and discrediting his ideas as evil…kill grandma…don’t care about the poor, etc.

Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were followers of Saul Alinsky who also favored the Cloward Piven Strategy:

First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and his wife Frances Fox Piven (both longtime members of the Democratic Socialists of America, where Piven today is an honorary chair), the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Inspired by the August 1965 riots in the black district of Watts in Los Angeles (which erupted after police had used batons to subdue a black man suspected of drunk driving), Cloward and Piven published an article titled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty” in the May 2, 1966 issue of The Nation. Following its publication, The Nation sold an unprecedented 30,000 reprints. Activists were abuzz over the so-called “crisis strategy” or “Cloward-Piven Strategy,” as it came to be called. Many were eager to put it into effect.

In their 1966 article, Cloward and Piven charged that the ruling classes used welfare to weaken the poor; that by providing a social safety net, the rich doused the fires of rebellion. Poor people can advance only when “the rest of society is afraid of them,” Cloward told The New York Times on September 27, 1970. Rather than placating the poor with government hand-outs, wrote Cloward and Piven, activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system; the collapse of the welfare state would ignite a political and financial crisis that would rock the nation; poor people would rise in revolt; only then would “the rest of society” accept their demands.

Rachel until you learn to discern the difference between a charge that can be backed by evidence and a blatant attack without merit or evidence you will continue to think as you do.

MORE children are living poor (not starving) in America under Obama’s policies than at any time in the past 50+ years! America is spending more than ever to help the poor:

    http://townhall.com/tipsheet/townhallcomstaff/2012/06/25/welfare_spending_skyrockets_poverty_rate_remains_unchanged_under_obama

Echoing a familiar theme, the Obama administration has dramatically increased welfare spending without actually reducing poverty. Under President Obama, welfare funding has increased by 41%, which adds up to $193 billion per year. CNS News, reporting on a Cato Institute study, had this to say :

Federal welfare spending this year now totals $668 billion, spread out over 126 programs, while the poverty rate that remains stubbornly high at nearly 15 percent roughly where it was in 1965, when President Johnson declared a federal War on Poverty.

Unfortunately you are not afraid of what will happen to this country if Obama is allowed to continue to grow government while trashing the private sector. Stop and think…somebody has to make money to fund all of the government spending…who will pay the tax with so many people not working? Where will the money come from to pay for all of the handouts? We have more people taking than we have people producing…THAT SHOULD SCARE YOU TO DEATH!

Before you judge Mitt Romney harshly you should find out for yourself (not from a Saul Alinsky destroyer) who Mitt Romney is…and how he has lived his life.

  16. Chris says:

Rachel, I’m a liberal who disagrees with 99% of what’s posted on this blog. But this article didn’t offend me. I didn’t find it very funny, but it was innocent juvenile humor. I think the quotes from Jason Biggs and the threats issued against Nicki Minaj are so much worse, that there’s no comparison. I do think in general, I see more hatred coming from Republican politicians and pundits than Democratic politicians and pundits, but that’s another issue. You are right about double standards in general; Republicans have no problem with lies and hateful rhetoric from people like Hannity, Rush, Coulter, and Beck. You are also right that politics too often resembles “high school drama,” with people on both sides freaking out over imaginary slights.

  17. Post Scripts says:

Chris I agree it was meant as innocent humor, juvenile..yeah sure… I’m guilty. But, so are skits on Saturday Nite Live, Bill Mahr’s show, etc. and generally the GOP is the target of that humor. We still laugh at it. -Jack
