Renewed Respect for America in the World? Ummm…Message from Al Qaida

Posted by Tina

The President has been saying recently that (Because of him?) America is now more respected in the world.

Who is he trying to kid?

Europe is pretty ticked off about the NSA snooping…not to mention policies that are making our economy, and therefore our place in the world more vulnerable. China and Russia are taking turns poking our President in the eye. South of the border the folks don’t appreciate the violence that fast and furious helped to fuel. In short the lack of strong leadership in the U.S. has created a world of uncertainty, increased violence and lack of growth and opportunity.

But the situation is even more devastating than these troubling realities suggest. The enemy that has referred to America as the Great Satan has a message for America:

A representative of al Qaeda in the Gaza Strip sent a stark warning to Americans during a Sunday interview on WABC Radio in New York : Get ready for Islam.

“Islam is coming, and there is no other choice,” said Abu Sager, a leader of Jihadiya Salafiya in the Gaza Strip, on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio ” on Sunday. “Because we think Islam will come, and this is something that no one can prevent.”

He did not claim that Islam would spread in America through acts of violence, WND reported. But he did suggest that jihadists who are currently fighting Syrian President Bashar Assad could turn their anger next onto Israel and the United States , the “enemies of Islam,” WND reported.

“And we will raise the Islamic flag on every point on earth where Muslims live, and we will chase all the enemies of Islam wherever they are,” he said. “Even in the West, in Europe and in the United States.”

A President that fails to adequately protect its ambassadors, that undermines its special forces, that closes embassies after uncovering threats, and that goes on Jay Leno’s nighttime talk show to chat casually about his policies rather than facing the world behind a podium has signaled weakness and made America more vulnerable to the ambitions of dangerous forces.

A President that refuses to acknowledge his policies have failed to pull America out of economic doom and vowed to change policies is not acting in the capacity of President but following a personal and politically ideological agenda.

In short Obama has failed to lead.

Is America more respected in the world after five years under Barack Obama.

No.

Screw Islam, screw al Qaeda, screw religious fascism, screw all fascist-wannbe-despots who act in the name of religion.

    That about covers it 🙂

Respect is earned, and all Obumble has earned is the disgust of intelligent voters.

“Who is he trying to kid?” – The uninformed voters for 2014.

Don’t forget Canada is pissed off at us over the Keystone XL pipeline stall. And our gas prices reflect the cost. We are still not producing our own oil for our own consumption.

Looks like he’s losing the respect of the majority in our own borders too.

Obama’s Approval Ratings Near All-Time Lows:

Facing a series of scandals involving everything from the IRS to the NSA – in addition to the growing unpopularity of his signature healthcare law — President Barack Obama’s job approval ratings are at near record lows, sinking to levels last seen more than a year and a half ago.

What respect?, if anything Obama has shown the world ALL of our paper tiger weakness.

He a legend in his mind only, and a lack luster phony to the thinking people of the world.

Obama is a activist and divisive do nothing, who was elected by those of his same ilk. He collects his precious Nobel peace awards with his two faced Cheshire cat smile, but sacrifices Americans life’s needlessly while on a Las Vegas junket.

1 year later and Obama and Hilliary’s involvement in four American deaths in Benghazi is still being covered up, if only their for political needs!

Obama is claiming world respect? Pardon me, but Kiss my Arse!

A very thoughtful and insightful look at the Obama presidency in terms of foreign policy and the war at Commentary Magazine includes this paragraph:

The overall impression in the Middle East is that America is pulling away. That Economist editorial ended with a plea: “When Persian power is on the rise, it is not the time to back away from the Middle East.” This is an expression of deep anxiety, politely phrased in London but spoken with less restraint in Jerusalem and nearly every Arab capital. In fact, the very same words are often heard because so many Arab states—from Jordan and Morocco to Saudi Arabia and the Emirates—have, like Israel, tied their security to our willpower and ability to act. The prevailing mood is trepidation. The Middle Easterners are keen students of power, and they realize that the administration’s so-called “pivot to Asia”—the supposed refocusing of American foreign policy away from the Middle East and onto the Far East instead—is a weak excuse: They see that a diminishing of the American position in their region cannot possibly help build respect for American strength in and around China. They know that no one, from Khamenei to Assad to Putin to Chavez, has ever seemed to fear Barack Obama; no one has been deterred from crossing him. They watch carefully the withdrawals from Iraq and Afghanistan, unsurprised by the fact that the Americans are ending the wars unilaterally but studying the terms. The administration made so little effort to work out a way to keep a force in Iraq (through a status-of-forces agreement) that the fair conclusion is total withdrawal was its preferred outcome. Same for Afghanistan. In June the administration floated a new “zero option” policy for Afghanistan: Withdraw every single American soldier next year despite any previous pledges of support to the Afghan government. Ryan Crocker, who was President Obama’s ambassador to Afghanistan, described the new plan this way: “If it’s a tactic, it is mindless; if it is a strategy, it is criminal.” The best description of Obama policy these days seems to be “We want out.”

    Precisely so!

There are other gems in this quite long piece…take the time if you are so inclined…your time will not be wasted.
