The ink hasn’t quite dried on the Chris Lane murder story, the aspiring baseball star who was shot in the back by two black teens who did it because they were bored. Now we have a WWII Vet who was sitting in his car in the parking lot in front of the Eagles Lodge when he was attacked by two black teens who apparently did it for the fun of it.

Spokane -Wa. Delbert Belton, was a retired aluminum worker and had a reputation for fixing up old cars as a hobby. He was also a member of the local Eagles Lodge in Spokane.
During World War II, he was an Army combat veteran and saw some of the worst fighting of the war on Okinawa. This was the last island to fall before the invasion of Japan.
The Japanese made a desperate last stand to protect the homeland from invasion. The US invasion force had 102,000 Army and 81,000 Marine soldiers. On the other side the Japanese had around 77,000 soldiers ,but they included 9,000 battle hardened troops from the Imperial Japanese Army (IJN) and 39,000 Ryukyuan fighters. We suffered the worst causalities of the war, 62,000 US soldiers were killed or wounded. This is the Hell Delbert “Shorty” Belton went through. He was one of the lucky combat wounded, because he would later return home to make a full recovery and lead a normal life as a hard working family man. Then as his final years came into view his life ended in violence.
Last Wednesday “Shorty” was suddenly attacked while he sat in his vehicle. He was punched knocked out, possibly with flashlights carried by the attackers. The blood gushed from wounds all over his 88 year old face. The hemorrhaging was so severe he died in the hospital yesterday. The suspects were two black male teenagers, about 16-19, one was wearing a do rag, said a witness. A nearby surveillance camera picked up their possible photos. One of the teens has been arrested, the other is still being sought.
“Shorty” wasn’t armed, but if he had been we would be writing a different kind of story. “White man shoots two unarmed Black teens” and the country would outraged. I’m sjure Rev. Al Sharpton would be racing to Spokane to inflame the Black community, and just as likely President Obama would soon be taking to the
podium to lecture us on gun violence and race relations. The news would have 4th grade pictures of the victims on page one. And no doubt MSNBC, CNN and others would be interviewing the usual racist crackpots who would once again be making threats of retaliation and demand for justice! But, Shorty wasn’t armed… no, he was an old man killed for unknown reasons. No story here. No candle light vigils warranted, no members of Congress will be showing solidarity for Shorty, no angry mobs of Whites will be blocking traffic or destroying property. Shorty’s just dead and nothing much will come from it. Juvenile murderers tend to get less than a two year sentence, hardly worth the cost of a trial. So this one death represents nothing, as in, there’s nothing in it for Obama , Al, Jesse or the NAACP.
UPDATE: Keenan Kinnard is the suspect still on the run. See his picture on the right. Note his do rag. He’s a real patriotic American, isn’t he?
UPDATE: 26 Aug. 2013 – Kenan Kinnard has been arrested and has been charged with 1st degree murder and robbery. Both teen suspects have a history of violence.
He could have been MY dad.
And note he was beaten to death with flashlights. No gun was used in this black on white attack.

If you believe the anti-gun lobby that banning weapons is the way to end violence, then their next target to register/outlaw will be flashlights . .. . .

Jack,That is a key statement in all these crimes, black on white,white on black, even same race killings. What ever works in their favor, not so much whats good for Americas behalf.
However I tend to think that when ever there is silence from the WH, that is just another method of dividing the country against each other. In this last case a Gun is not used, just another dead citizen, so it seems it the agenda of the WH and Media that drives stories, not the sicking intent of the perpetrators. The media is just barely reporting these incidents, That is unless the WH steps in.
I wonder is Obama can identify with any of the last 4 black murders who have needlessly taken a life. Most likely not, as there is no obvious advantage to Obama and his workforce of outside organizers

Hey Chris what should White people do for protection? I eagerly await your guidance on this subject. Clearly avoiding them is not the answer so what is? I was all for avoidance but they seem to be hunting white people.

Mr. Belton is one of the white victims featured in this American Thinker article. Anyone who doubts this is a growing problem, often involving racial hatred, should read it.

An assault and battery case last weekend ended in the arrest of three female juveniles who allegedly beat up and robbed a woman. The charges include a term I’ve never heard before (in bold-emphasis mine):
Sounds an awful lot to me like “workplace violence” and “overseas contingency operations”, no?
Jack is “ethnic intimidation” a term commonly used by the police or is this just another BS way to avoid calling it racism or a hate crime?
The woman in featured in my comment above described the attack on her as racially motivated and brutal.
It appears these young skulls feel like they have been given license to randomly attack white people with abandon. I hold the leadership of the black community responsible for this deplorable condition. Instead of assuring their progeny the blessings of liberty they have created the message and savagery of tribal warfare. The left is a disgusting bunch!
