Breitbart has brought to our attention a recent communication sent out by Alan Grayson, Democrat, Florida. Grayson’s letter to his constituents included a photo meant to hit their emotions hard. He fully intended to incite anger and hurt to grab their hard earned cash. He has no concern for the ultimate consequence of his irresponsible race baiting. Take a look at the hook he used to suck up campaign cash. Could anyone be more low down?
Set aside the way this man marginalizes and demeans the Tea Party, a group of concerned citizens, including blacks, whose major complaint has been high taxes, debt, and big oppressive government. The harm done to the Tea Party, regardless the indecency, is political. It can be endured and will be overcome.
Race baiting, however, is the most despicable maneuver on earth because it can destroy the heart and soul of unwitting victims. A murderer is an evil person. I don’t mean to diminish the gravity of the crime of murder. But a murders victim passes from this earth. He isn’t sentenced to a life lived believing that millions of fellow citizens hate him and would do him grievous physical harm! The race bait scum sets out to convince people that he calls friend that they are being targeted. This is covert bullying and it does real damage in the lives of those who believe him. It damages the individuals and the entire black community. It damages society as a whole. He makes victims of those he asks for money to enrich himself.
The tolerance and support these people receive from the Democrat Party and the media is equally despicable.
If the American people don’t stand up and fight against the liars who win by race baiting our country will be forever in an unnecessary state of division and upheaval.
I thought it was funny.
I suppose I could be perverse, but I think it’s going to inspire more chuckles than violence. You’d have to be kinda dim to take anything that “over-the-top” seriously … wouldn’t you?
Libby had you asked me that question in the seventies or eighties I might have agreed. Not anymore.
This is neither funny nor something we can afford to ignore.
Hmmm…so you believe that any black person who takes this seriously is a dim bulb? Nice.
I think you’re wrong. I think the black community has been fed lies like to the point that it can’t be dismissed as simply a joke.
Even if they all think its hilarious it’s still despicable.
I doubt if the revered MLK would find it amusing.
And really Libby…this is the best the Democrat Party can do? This is the best and the brightest as you once indicated we should be sending to DC to represent us?
Funny? What is funny about cross-burning? Something was so horrible, and terrifying to thousands of black families. It is disgusting to turn that into a joke. I used to respect Alan Grayson. Not because I agreed with his politics but he at least stood up to his party and said what he thought. Our government needs a lot more people to stand up to the national parties, no matter what side they are on. But this is just shocking, and disrespectful to the families who suffered through that horror.
Allen West will be on the Megan Kelly show today. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say about Grayson.
A. West from FB: “Thoroughly disgusted by Rep. Alan Grayson’s use of burning cross imagery in his recent fundraising email. Maybe he ought to crack open a history book, in between histrionics, to learn it was his party who created the KKK. When asked, about it, he even digs in deeper.
And another thing…beyond Grayson and his cross, there’s Democrat Senator Harry Reid refering to Barack Obama as light-skinned and not speaking in “Negro” dialect. And Democrat Vice President Joe Biden refering to Barack Obama as “clean and articulate.” Where oh where is the outrage from NAACP, National Urban League, Congressional Black Caucus, Rev’s Jackson or Sharpton? Oops, I forgot — white liberal progressives have a get out of jail free card. It’s just tragic that these traitors are selling the black community out to the party of slavery, Ku Klux Klan, Jim Crow, literacy tests, poll tax, and modern day economic servitude. And they call me Uncle Tom?”
Well, actually, it was funny along the lines of “over-stating the obvious.”
Oh, dear. Rep. Grayson has, of course, been called out over his inflammatory communication, and has produced in his defense an extensive collection of racist sentiment from Tea Party Rally placards.
You must go check it out.
His flaming “T” is not so over-the-top as I originally thought. Seriously … I’d be really embarrassed … if I was you.
