Whatever can they be thinking over there at the Department of Homeland Security? In fact, who is the mental midget behind the idea to lift a 30 year ban on Libyan Nationals so they can come to America to work and train in “aviation maintenance, flight operations, or nuclear-related fields”?

The 11-page proposed rule was obtained by Reps. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah).
In a statement on his congressional website, Rep. Chaffetz said that the draft final regulation could take effect without prior notice and comment. The congressmen say the prohibition was put in place in the 1980s after the wave of terrorist incidents involving Libyans.
“The administration justifies lifting this ban by claiming that the United States’ relationship with Libya has been ‘normalized,'” the statement said.
Normalized? Really?
Does the date 09/11/01 mean anything to anyone in that department? Does aviation training ring any bells? Do they not remember that terrorists trained in “flight operations” prior to flying planes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon?
Likewise, have they already forgotten the terrorist attack (And scandal) in Libya that resulted in the deaths of Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods?
This doesn’t seem like a smart move to me. Tell me why I’m crazy and the administration is smart.
I still would like to know why all bomb sniffing dogs were removed from the world trade center 1 week before attack.
I would still like to know what those vehicles and men who showed up in the middle of the night were doing in the world trade center at night.
I would like to know why the second plane has no windows? Why the initial film of people on the ground all said it was a military plane on film, all in the moment.
I would like to know why there are flashes on the floors as it crumbles just like a demolition.
I would like to know how the metal of a commercial airliner could ever penetrate those hard steel beams and the fire was so hot it burned for days.
An airliner could not have done that damage.
I would like to know why over 2 trillion went missing from the pentagon right before the attack?
And the head was a remote aircraft CEO?
I would like to know why there was a meeting to divide up the oil fields for privatizing by the same companies Iraq boycotted for a Kurdish Oil deal in Iraq before the phony war
I would like to know why President Obama requested the DOJ to protect the Bush Admin from being prosecuted for their war crimes?
I would like to know why it is common to have drones in our night skys overhead? No kids those are not spaceships.
I would like to know why any American thinks Citizens United and foreign money in our elections is OK?
I would like to know why there is always money for the war machine private contracts but not our own people , roads, schools, ect?

But on Thursday, bomb-sniffing dogs were abruptly removed. (Because the threat was deemed false and no longer required the overtime. There ‘s been no connection to the phone threat and the airplane hits.)
“Today was the first day there was not the extra security,” Coard said. “We were protecting below. We had the ground covered. We didn’t figure they would do it with planes. There is no way anyone could have stopped that.”

Note that the story talks of a “heightened security alert” being lifted, and “extra security” being taken away. So the security levels weren’t weakened compared to usual, they were just returning to normal levels.
What’s more, the idea that all bomb-sniffing dogs were removed appears to be incorrect. Consider this.

Presumably there would have been at least one other dog in tower one, perhaps others working different shifts. It looks like these at least were fixed and not wandering the building, but this would still pose a problem for vehicles bringing explosives.”
