I don’t know if a scientist would put it that way but that is the gist of the latest studies by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Johns Hopkins University in the US and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. A new paper published in the Journal of Geophysical Research Atmospheres finds water vapor can act as a negative-feedback cooling effect to significantly counteract anthropogenic global warming.
I’m pretty sure there are those who will insist that these researchers are not relevant or that their findings are insignificant. They might say that because these researchers may not be part of the 98% who are alleged to agree that the science is settled we shouldn’t take their findings seriously. They might not be part of the GW cult that insists humans are destroying the planet through their greedy use of fossil fuels, that Americans are particularly guilty, or that humans are causing dangerous levels of warming that could cause the seas to rise twenty feet! But I don’t think it wise to listen to these voices.
The earth has an amazing capacity to cleanse and to regulate. Scientists are nowhere near understanding the many ways that the earth cools and warms. It’s time to stop the scare mongering, especially in our schools. It’s time to educate and inform honestly with science and scientists who respect the scientific method.
Indeedy, yes, as soon as Gaia has purged herself of a certain noxious (astoundingly ignorant and arrogant) infestation, the planet will be restored to beauty.

“The Range Busters” was a film series of 24 Westerns about the adventures of a trio of cowboys starring Alibi Terhune, Dusty King, and Crash Corrigan. The very last production was “Bullets and Saddles”. “Bullets and Saddles”. It contains, in my humble opinion, the absolute best and most hilarious introduction to Alibi’s sidekick. My advice is to not look up “The Range Busters” or view any of their other films until you view “Bullets and Saddles”. Alibi goes to the Wayside Inn to check in on the bad guys and break the ice at the 12:13 mark. If you are not familiar with “The Range Busters” he pulls something completely unexpected out of his pack roll…
