should they make $3.00 an hour that good for ya?
Dewey, you don’t deserve an answer, but I’ll give you one anyway. Public employees deserve (1) no more than the government can afford to pay (2) and no more than their value with respect to their private sector counterparts. When either of these two things are out of balance, those of us who pay taxes are being shafted and we’re headed for certain trouble. It’s called sustainable governance.
It was a huge mistake to allow public employees to unionize. It was a license to steal!
And…. In all seriousness…. Dewey, you need to see someone to help you deal with your delusions. I’m not saying this as an insult. It is obvious you have a problem of some sort. I suspect alcohol or drugs but based on the way you express yourself there is a significant problem.
More Common Sense it was a huge mistake. The evidence of theft is all around us at every level.
I doubt that most of the citizens who participated in the legalized theft realized what they had become a part of; most just accepted a job and assumed that we could afford their salaries and perks…irresponsibly, but we have all been pretty unconscious over the decades about such things.
I get angry when we show others the problem, show ways to restore common sense approaches and reorganize for better efficiency and our efforts are met with cold stares and hateful accusations. Most won’t even engage in discussions honestly.
Regarding the other matter, I agree.
