   What ever happen to that 6 state initiative?

   Did you sign the petition at Food Max a couple of weeks ago?

   I did but wondered how it worked out, if they got enough signatures.

   Bob according to this the deadline in July 18th:

   The plan aims to settle California’s financial issues after the separation of the states. If things can’t be resolved, each state would receive a portion of the state’s debts based on the newly created state’s population.

   If the federal government approves creating six new states, “all tax collections and spending by the existing State of California would end, with its assets and liabilities divided among the new states,” Secretary of State Debra Bowen said in a statement on Tuesday.

   If California were its own separate country, it would have the eighth-largest economy in the world.

   Draper needs to collect enough signatures in order to take his petition into the ballots. His deadline is July 18, 2014, and he needs the signatures of 807,615 registered.

   But, according to the Fresno Bee the deadline was May 27th.

   According to the Secretary of State website you can find out the status of initiatives by going here.

   The six state initiative wasn’t on either the list of qualified measures or the list that failed to qualify so I have to assume they are still working on it…unless they simply gave up.

   Your guess is as good as mine.

   When I first brought up the 6 state scam by the silicon valley billionaire I remember someone here saying they would not supposedly support that.

   Look That is not a plan to help anybody it is to conquer and destroy CA and take the Senate with 10 new Senators. Gerrymandered takeover. These guys are not playing around.

   I was called a fool when I first brought up there was a 6 state scam.

   How about we get to know the actual language of the props that qualified and debate them. Ya know they never properly inform the public on any of them anymore.

   Let’s decipher what they really do and see what money they are tied to if any.

   The 6 state “scam” is about getting control back where it belongs, at the local level with the people.

   Even if it passes and Congress or Suckramento refused to split the state it would get more back to locals.

   Currently it is are best hope to rid us of the tyranny of Sucramento. For instance, the cap-n-tax program is going to add a billion dollars in increased energy costs to Colliefornians (as Ahnode calls it). And that’s just to start. It will go up each year.

   And it is a honey pot for corrupt politicians to use the money for their pet projects (to reward their friends and punish their enemies). For instance Brownie is going to use 250 million for his bullet train to nowhere boondoggle.
