Seventy-three years ago today Japan attacked our Naval fleet at Pearl Harbor and America was plunged into war. The attack, remembered as a day that would “live in infamy,” made headlines like this around the world.
Veterans that survived that fateful day are over 90 years old now but they still have the gumption to gather at the memorial in Hawaii to commemorate the day and honor those who perished. Clearly the dedication and spirit that won WWI is alive and well in each of them today.
We at Post Scripts join with all Americans to honor those who gave their lives that day as well as those who went on to win the war.

There are so many stories from WWII that those who experienced them have held tightly to their chests either to spare others grief or to honor the nation they served. Thanks for sharing RHT447. I never cease to be amazed by the accomplishments and character of most in my parents generation.
