Now let me see if I have this right. There’s no guidance or discipline in the family home. The family situation is so unstable, ‘Junior’ doesn’t even know where or to whom to send a Father’s Day card. Junior gets dumped into the education system where he is socially promoted because the overwhelmed school district can’t deal with the undisciplined whelp. Junior’s major formative influences are ‘gangsta’ rap videos and a corresponding peer group of gangsta wannabes.
At age 18, Junior is turned loose on society carrying a bad attitude, a broken compass and little or no respect for authority. Junior gets himself in big trouble with the law and meets dire consequences. Then, the situation diagnosis is that the police need more training and understanding? Pardon me for asking, but do you really believe all this crap, because of several bad cops??
And, thanx to Obumble and the clown AG Holder, being found not guilty by a jury of their peers no longer counts if the protestors/rioters don’t get the verdict they want.
And therefore, in steps the Dept of Jerks – like in Ferguson and Cleveland – to “investigate.” Horsefeathers!
Your asking if the answer to this type of
“situation diagnosis is that the police need more training and understanding?”

Really….
Come on Jack Stereotypes?
Jr has no father? Why is that evident about Junior? What is different about Jr?
There’s no guidance or discipline? Why is that? So the mother is not capable at all?
I’ll stop there. What are you saying just in these statements.?
I think we all know.
Dewey, please allow me to explain. First, I only posted it, I’m not the author, but I understand the deep meaning here. This is a semi-comical parody, an internet email circulated on the internet, and it’s origin is unknown. However, it hints that Jr. is a black kid who grows up in a broken home with little or no guidance, he gets in trouble with the law and suddenly its the cops fault.
This also hints at another (sad) reality, that blacks lead society in fatherless homes. The impact of absentee fathers can be seen in homes, schools, hospitals and prisons. Fatherlessness is associated with almost every societal ill facing our country’s children and blacks have the highest rate of fatherless homes.
An estimated 24.7 million children (33%) live absent their biological father. 67% of black children, 31.2% of Hispanic children, and 20.7% of white children are living absent their biological fathers. Studies have consistently shown that kids from a broken home are more likely to have adjustment problems. Even if the mother is concerned and attentive, her job becomes much more difficult and a successful outcome less assured without a good father roll model.
Is there really a direct correlation between children from a broken home and criminal behavior and incarceration? You bet, (read the stats) the evidence is overwhelming. Is it a guarantee that children in a fatherless home will have developmental problems leading to prison? No, not at all! But, its a guarantee they will have less chance of success in life in a broken home, with an attentive Mom and Dad. Is there any correlation between the record high fatherless families among blacks and their record high representation in prison? (you think about it and you tell me)
Side note: Dewey, you remind me of this great saying: “It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.” Ronald Reagan
Just a thought here Dewey, but you really ought to try harder to be more enlightened, especially before casting stones at others. You may think you are being wise and compassionate when in fact you are a you are really just another co-dependent.

Jack: “At age 18, Junior is turned loose on society carrying a bad attitude, a broken compass and little or no respect for authority. Junior gets himself in big trouble with the law and meets dire consequences. Then, the situation diagnosis is that the police need more training and understanding?”
Uh…yes, of course that’s exactly what that means. Why wouldn’t police need more training and understanding of the people they are going to be dealing with on a daily basis? The implication that they don’t makes no sense.
Chris, the implication be damned, the reality is 99% of ALL cops deal quite reasonably with such people and they do it every day and nobody notices. It’s only the rare exception they notice and then there is Hell to pay! I’m shocked you wouldn’t know this with all your extensive knowledge of police officers? Oh, wait… you just read the headlines and form your liberal opinions. Well, never mind then, how could you know anything relevant? My bad.
“99% of ALL cops deal quite reasonably with such people”
Source: thin air.
I’ve already done the gymnastics for you and more than once. I went through all the arrests and encounters cops have with people and I’ve showed you how many times people don’t get shot or harmed in anyway and frankly if you reject this by now, then it’s all on you. Not my problem defend to my position with you anymore. You’re obviously too biased to hold an honest opinion or accept one that is.
She sure as he77 was one of the 99%.
Slain Omaha cop Kerrie Orozco devoted to kids; mourned by Boys and Girls club: ‘She was always going to be there for them’:
“Baseball will never be the same for a Nebraska Boys and Girls Club devastated by the death of their heroic head coach — a new mother who became a fallen cop Wednesday.
But it will go on.
The two dozen youngsters who spent years under the wings of Omaha Police Officer Kerrie Orozco, who they lovingly called “Coach K,” will pick up their bats this summer and play the all-American game their fearless leader loved in her honor.”

Cops lives do matter, at least to some very young individuals who haven’t been taught to hate those they don’t agree with or may have a different skin color.
Jack.
Co Dependent? Stats? Crime?
First of all I am out there in the streets trying to do something. Remember I am temporarily in Baltimore. So I am seeing it from the inside out.
There are father figures in many homes. There is also a long inbred culture problem that I see many of the new generation attacking. Many of these kids know more about politics and cultural problems than you think.
Crime? Ya mean like white collar crime where they pay fines and no one ever goes to jail? I am sorry but many of these kids are charged with crimes that are false. I see many many good cops here but there is a whole bunch of them that are not. People are falsely accused and convicted of minor crimes all the time. You just are living in a world with no view of the problem Jack.
I am in the middle of it. I am getting involved.
I am glad you did not write it but it is a racial baiting piece.
Lets get to solutions for the problems and stop yaking about the symptoms.
Bottom Line Multinational Corporations have shipped our jobs overseas. They are planning to over ride evey national government by using their international tribunal courts.
There are no decent jobs in many many cities. People are getting frustrated. rascism and corruption is now OK. This has happened before in history. We are at a pivotal time in the world. AUSTERITY everywhere = Protests everywhere.
look at the world view, Look at the big picture. many nations are n the streets including England.
The criminals are taking away the middle class. The Banks and the markets. They do not go to jail they pay fines.
Dewey you can deny fatherless homes are hurting America and in particular black families, but that won’t fix anything. Look, you have to recognize the problem first…before you can begin to fix it. The fact is, black families lead the national statistics in fatherless homes and crimes per capita and incarcerations by a wide margin. This is not coincidental and its not because of being falsely arrested by bigoted cops.
When you say, “There are father figures in many (black) homes.” How many homes would that be? How many is many? Please share your data and sources, I did.
When you say, ” I am sorry but many of these kids are charged with crimes that are false.” Okay, then tell us how many. What percentage of black arrests are false arrests? Please enlighten us…cite your data and sources.
Obviously you think it is a very high number, so high that it has turned blacks against the police. Surely you must have documentation, so please share that with us. And define what is a false arrest is. Is it an arrest that does not go to court because the DA said it lacked sufficient evidence? Is it a malicious arrest, something done under color of authority that denies civil rights? The FBI investigates those 100% of the time…its the law. So, how many of the latter are upheld every year? Would be good to know given your belief of many false arrests.
When you say, “Bottom Line Multinational Corporations have shipped our jobs overseas.” Please tell us why they did that. Surely they didn’t go to China because they wanted to learn Chinese. Tell why these businesses left America? This is getting to the core problem, it is not yaking about the symptoms. And while we are at it, you use the term Multinational Corporations and that implies they are already outside the USA, so how could Multinational Corporations ship our jobs overseas? But, this is a small point, lets address why our American born businesses would leave their country to setup shop outside America…any ideas why that would happen?
Dewey, it is one thing to have anecdotal testimony, which is what you offered, but it is quite another to have provable evidence. We need something provable or verifiable if your conclusions are going to hold up.
