Mark Levin’s New Book a Must Read, Especially for American Youth

Posted by Tina

Thomas Lifson of The American Thinker recommends Mark Levin’s new book, “Plunder & Deceit,” to his children and others of the younger generation:

The first thing out of my mouth will be, “I am sorry!” The next thing will be, “I fought against this, but I failed you.” And the third thing will be, “Here’s a guide to what’s been done to your generation, and what we can join together to do about it.”

The book includes 10 chapters, each addressing a particular subject that need to be addressed now if we are going to remedy the ” wreckage being created by what Levin calls the ‘ruling generation.'” The following subjects are included in the 10 chapters: Social Security, Medicare and Obamacare, Education, Immigration, Environment, Minimum Wage, National Security, and The Constitution. Chapters include information that most people are unaware of. Here’s a sample, emphasis mine:

Chapter Three, “On Social Security,” looks at the monster that has been created out of a program always designed to exploit wage earners and benefit elders, but which has run into a demographic wall that will be fiscally fatal. Owing to the decline in the birth rate and expanding life expectancy, the burden is becoming unsustainable. Two pieces of data in this chapter startled me, even though I have been reading about the subject for many years. The first is that Social Security expenditures totaled 0.22 percent of the economy during World War 2, and in 1983 accounted for 24 percent. The second was: “For the first time, people who are retiring today will receive less in benefits than they paid into the system in taxes.” The plunder has already reached such an extent that even those at the top of the food chain are getting a rotten deal.

If in 1984 SS accounted for 24% of the economy what is the percentage today? And what kind of lousy return on their investment will future generations realize? Is it any wonder Lifson calls the book a “call to arms” for the generation that will inherit the mess.

Young people are the future. They’ve been bamboozled by a generation either drunk with a desire for power or too busy pursuing selfish quests to act as guardians for the futures of their own children. Concerned Boomers have expressed the fear that if we don’t begin to turn the trajectory of this nation around there is no hope for future generations. They will be stuck in third world conditions and slaves to the big government bureaucracy and ruling political class. The question is, “How to get this book and it’s message into the hands of enough young people to make the difference?” Lifson recommends buying several copies of the book to give to young people we know. That’s one solution; I pray there will be more.

Knowledge is power. Sharing that knowledge increases that power. Read the Lifson article and buy the book.

Sent my brother, who’s a community college instructor and director of the ASB, your article so he can assign Lifson’s book to his students.

Did you see DNC Debbie not able to answer a question from Chris Matthews. Priceless!

There you have it Peggy, media help intervenes once more in support of the Liberal ideology, especially when they ask a “OOPS” question, then have to give a answer and let the person off the hook.

Wassermann was in effect answering the question, by trying to divert the question to what’s the diff between GOP and Dems, because she knows there is no difference between her party and its socialistic goals.

Bet media liberal lap dog Chris Matthews is kicking himself for even asking Wassermann that one

    Good Find! 🙂

Good idea Peggy, students need to read this book. But to be clear, the book review was by Lifson. The book is by one of your favorites, Mark Levin! it’s bound to be a winner.

I did see Debbie at a loss for words. She’s such a motor mouth it was amazing that she couldn’t think of a thing to say. Usually she can spin her way through any question.

Oops, thanks Tina, I’ll let my brother know it’s Levin’s book.

Here is another lesson on why socialism doesn’t work.

Yes, that was priceless! Debbie is the gift that keeps on giving.

Another report is out stating how terrible the Obama’s economy recovery is.

Obama’s America sets new record EVERY single black person needs to see:

“The number and sorts of economic records being set by the Obama economy keep mounting. At this moment the United States has a post-Depression era record high number of citizens living at or beneath the federally-defined poverty line; a record high number on the federal welfare foodstamps/SNAP program; a record low workforce participation number; and now six-and–half years into the Obama presidency the economy has set yet another new statistical low.

According to a new report by the Annie E. Casey Foundation last week, a greater percentage of U.S. children live in poverty now than during the Great Recession. The study shows poverty rates among all children have grown since 2008 when the rate was 18 percent; it increased to 22 percent by 2013.”

Pie, if you liked seeing Debbie the first time she refused to answer the question about the difference between Democrats and Socialist you’ll love the second time she refuses to answer the same question.
