Will Democrats Fully Embrace the Radical “Black Lives Matter” Movement?”

Keep your eyes peeled as we move into the election season. A black man, speaking about the BLM movement this morning on FOX Business reported that the Democrat Party is considering officially putting “Black Lives Matter” on the party platform. Don’t know that it will happen but even if it’s being considered it’s unsettling. He also reported that a large majority of black people in his city were in favor of a greater police presence in the city.

When will the leadership of the Democrat Party stand in support of the people who live in cities plagued with out of control criminality and black on black murders?

Contrast that with Governor Abbott in Texas calling for “Stand with Law Enforcement” state wide. His stance suggests the need for unity, for adherence to laws, and support for those charged with serving the public. He is asking for the good citizens of Texas to reject radical calling for whites and cops to be lynched (murdered).

Many are now calling for the BLM group to be designated a hate group. Others are citing indulgence of radical protest as a problem of the citizenry as well as our representatives. This isn’t a peaceful group, locked arm and arm together singing Kumbaya…it is a militant band issuing threats:

…militant language {is} employed by a protest organizer. In the above news clip, Rashad Turner expresses premeditated aggressive intent. “We’re gonna disrupt [the fair]. There’s nothing they’re gonna be able to do about it…. If we’re met with any resistance or threatened with any resistance, we’ll meet them with that same resistance.”

That’s what we used to call a threat, back when we had the intestinal fortitude to stand up to bullies regardless of their color.

The Democrats are often on the side of radicals who bully and issue threats as a means of political and social expression. In a free republic where they have full rights to expression, the right to choose political representation through their vote, and respect for peaceful protest what is the purpose if not to intimidate and divide people and incite violent revolution in sectors of society.

People of all races and ethnicity’s need to come together as Americans to reject this extremist violent movement. It is the one thing that has the power to unite us. It’s the one thing that unites us in support of the rule of law. It’s the one thing that unites us as a people that values the founding principles of civility and equality.
