They were right in Benghazi. England had the good sense to take their people out when the danger in Benghazi became too great, even with security. It could be that they are right about the flight out of Sharm el-Sheikh:
David Cameron’s decision to cancel British flights to Sinai is not going to make for a very comfortable meeting with Egyptian President al-Sisi, who arrives in London tomorrow for talks with the Prime Minister.
When I interviewed Mr al-Sisi in Cairo this week, he was insistent that claims the Russian jet that crashed in Sinai at the weekend was due to an act of terrorism was nothing more than ‘propaganda’.
But Mr Cameron, acting on the advice of his intelligence and security officials, has clearly concluded that the crash was not caused by mechanical failure, and acted swiftly to protect the thousands of British holidaymakers who visit the region each month.
Mr Cameron will argue he had no alternative, but I suspect Mr al-Sisi will see it as an act of betrayal by a country he regards as once having been a loyal ally.
Groups affiliated with ISIS have claimed responsibility. The US does not have flights out of Sharm. Stay tuned.
It’s too bad that jet didn’t have Miss Tina and Jack protecting them like this one. 🙂

You’re a funny guy, Bob. I do appreciate the underlying thought though.
But, WOW! That’s incredible. It’s every kid from the fifties fantasy come true.
I used to dream about flying through the air just a few feet off the ground. Not sure I’d like this ride…how many feet up? And at what speed?
You’re a funny guy, Bob.
That’s what the men in the white coats tell me.
I think these jet pack devices are nothing that you and Jack can’t handle, so I look forward to seeing you in the sky above Chico protecting us from the criminals and politicians…er…sorry for repeating myself.
Not sure I’d like this ride…
I am sure you’d do just fine.
…how many feet up? And at what speed?
I am guessing they probably fly at a few thousand feet most of the time, probably between 2000 and 4000 and that the typical speed would be around 80 to 120 mph. Just a guess.
I don’t believe they take off but jump out of airplanes to get started and they use a parachute to land. Sounds perfect for you and Jack.
And they steer by moving their bodies. I believe they arch their backs to go up and move their shoulders forward to go down and lean to go left and right. When you give it a try you can tell me if I’m right.
