Ted Cruz on Justice Department

Ted Cruz pointed to the dysfunction in the Justice Department in a CNN interview and gave his word that if elected his justice department would be “blind to party or ideology”…

…the lawlessness of the Obama administration has been one of the saddest legacies. And you know one of the most revealing aspects – I mean, Anderson, if you watch reporters in Washington, off the record, you get them at the bar having a couple drinks, and you say, is Hillary Going to be indicted? Inevitably the answer they give you is they say, well, it depends on if the Obama White House decides they want to throw her overboard. It they decide politically they want to keep her, then no, she won’t be indicted, and if they decide they’re done with her, she will.

Now how sad is it that the media accepts as a given that whether someone is prosecuted under the criminal laws depends on what some political hack in the West Wing thinks.

You know, I used to be an associate deputy attorney general at the U.S. Department of Justice and I spent five-and-a-half years as solicitor general in the state of Texas. Law enforcement and the administration of law is critically important. And I give you my word that the attorney general in my administration will be blind to party or ideology. It will not be a partisan position. Instead the only fidelity of the Department of Justice will to the laws and the Constitution of the United States. That’s the way it’s meant to work.

Ted Cruz has proven again and again that he can be counted on to keep his word and follow the Constitution. He is the right man at the right time. America can do no better at this time.

    Ted made a blanket statement

the lawlessness of the Obama administration has been one of the saddest legacies.

Name the lawlessness! If he had broke the law the GOP would have wasted no time impeaching him. Ted has said that for years but has nothing on him. Just pandering to those who hate Obama.

    This is poor politics people.

Ted broke the law in his senate campaign.

Not to mention his wife worked for Goldman Sachs, he is the furthest thing from grass roots there is.

You can like the guy but if you rely on his statements as your campaign for him it will prove futile.

What policy of his makes you want to vote for Ted? What has he done besides babble and obstruct?
