As the Republican campaign moves on to Nevada John Kasich will move on , although his ground crew will remain. His intentions are unclear as he has not cancelled scheduled events in Virginia and Georgia. He may well hang on at least until Super Tuesday…and the beat goes on, and on, and on….
I know it will end eventually, it just feels like we’re running in mud right now.
According to TheHill.com, Kasich returned to OH and signed a bill stripping funding from Planned Harvesthood.
Well done, John! Congrats on doing the job the voters in OH elected you to do. They did NOT elect you to go galavanting around the country running for prez!
AZ has a great law. Requires any elected official to resign their office BEFORE running for another. Reasoning is that you can’t do your elected job if you’re out campaigning ad nauseum. Maybe OH needs another new law . . . . . ..

If it wasn’t for that good New Hampshire showing and a future Ohio primary ahead I imagine he’d have terminated his campaign after SC. Hope springs eternal.
Despite my huge disagreement with his views on Planned Parenthood, Kasich is one of my favorite Republicans, and I appreciate his calls for respect and unity. He seems like a genuinely good person. It’s a shame he isn’t doing well in the polls.
