Hypocrite Hillary Clinton

I just stumbled upon a kicker article by Josh Rogan and Eli Lake, “Hypocritical for Clinton to hide work”:

Hypocritical? How about Illegal!

But setting that aside, they’re right, Hillary Clinton, a pathological liar in my book, is a hypocrite down to her bones. As Rogan and Lake observe, “as Secretary of State Hillary made a point criticizing governments around the world for their lack of transparency.” She went so far as to develop an action plan for the United States that “pledged to reform the storage of digital records and increase Americans’ access to government information.” She launched this program, the Open Government Partnership, with co-chair, Brazilian President *Dilma Rouseffe. Hillary’s speech included the following:

“When a government hides its work from public view, hands out jobs and money to political cronies, administers unequal justice, looks away as corrupt bureaucrats and businessmen enrich themselves at the people’s expense, that government is failing its citizens,” she said. “And most importantly, that government is failing to earn and hold the trust of its people. And that lack of trust, in a world of instantaneous communication, means that the very fabric of society begins to fray and the foundation of governmental legitimacy begins to crumble.”

Then Hillary went in to action to “get things done,” her common brag. She did this knowing full well that her own emails would not be included in this new transparency program::

Three months later, Clinton’s State Department made several commitments for the U.S. as part of the Open Government Partnership. One was to overhaul how the U.S. government stores and manages its records, to create “a reformed, digital-era, government-wide records management framework that promotes accountability and performance.”

Government transparency experts said Clinton knew when that commitment was made that her own emails wouldn’t be included in the framework because she had established her own email domain on a private server.

Danielle Brian, the executive director of the nonpartisan Project on Government Oversight, told us that Clinton’s 2011 speech “demonstrates extraordinary hypocrisy given that while Clinton was giving this speech she had created essentially a second set of books where her communications were not being captured for the National Archives.”

Brian added that not having a State Department email address, with its communications stored by the government, “undermines the whole point of the Open Government Partnership.”

Wow! If Hillary had been George Bush’s underling wouldn’t the media be harping on this story relentlessly day after day? You KNOW they would because you watched as they tore Scooter Libby to shreds in the press, making sure he was prosecuted and sent to jail…and for a whole lot less! You watched as they destroyed Alberto Gonzales who at the time was, “the highest-ranking Hispanic American in executive government,” forcing his resignation!

But according to Lake and Rogin it isn’t just that Hillary was subverting the Open Government Partnership program, it’s that as she represented the United States, YOU and ME, she lectured leaders from other nations:

In fiscal year 2012, Clinton’s last full year in office, the State Department ranked last out of the top 15 government agencies for its handling of FOIA requests, earning an “F” grade, according to the Center for Effective Government.

Several times as secretary of state, Clinton lectured other foreign leaders about government transparency and openness. In 2010, during a trip to Armenia, she called on that government to do better.

“Democracy requires not just elections, but open dialogue, a free exchange of ideas, government transparency and accountability, and above all, an empowered citizenry, who constantly work together to make their country fairer, juster, healthier and freer,” she said.

In September 2012, at the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative, she told a story about lecturing an unidentified foreign government leader for a lack of government transparency that she said was impeding his country’s development.

“‘Well, I have here a lot of the international lists of where your country stands on business climate, on corruption, on government transparency, and you are near or at the bottom. And it is time for you to recognize that in an interconnected global economy, you will benefit from doing what you should be doing internally for yourself,'” Clinton said she told the foreign leader. “And so we have to have that kind of hard talk, which we do on a regular basis.”

Hillary, a global bully, is a corrupt politician with a record of zero transparency. The Democrat Party leadership, well aware of this corruption, and has just proudly made her their champion. Soon they will officially name her as their presidential candidate.

Hillary Clinton should instead pay a price for her illegal, unethical behaviors and she and others in the Democrat Party leadership should be roundly rejected in November. Are there enough people in the party electorate to clean out this rats nest of corruption? I guess we’ll see in November. (Obama just endorsed Hillary Clinton…the protection racket just got sealed!)

Rouseff brazilian president*Dilma Rouseffe ran for election on the promise to “harness oil and boost the economy.” Now she’s facing impeachment due to accusations in a bribery scandal that involves the national oil company Petrobras. The nation is in political chaos.

Birds of a feather!

    Really? You are so biased

Yes she is a bully and so was GW and the rest of the GOP

They are all friends who have some policy differences. Bill and Pappy Bush hang out for a reason.

Get Real they are all a bunch of crooks

    • Pie Guevara says:

I guess The Dupester thinks that Hillary should get a pass because, in his demented mind, GW and the GOP “are bullies.”

Dupester, get your own blog and rant to your heart’s content. See how many readers you get. Seriously Dupe! Their is a large market of mental midgets like you that are potential readers. You could become bigger than Daily Kos.

Follow Corporate Media to the land of Sheeplehood?

It’s like you can not admit the corruption exists.

      • Tina says:

I love truth Dewey. You have a lawyer explaining a lawsuit. You do not have a court decision and you certainly have nothing but accusations regarding both parties being involved. It also sounded to me like the corruption in the Democrat party should be a bigger concern. I mean really, “…they are using Hillary Clinton to eliminate Bernie Sanders?”

Who is “they” and who has all the power in California, especially in Alameda County and San Diego? Certainly not the Republican Party.

I would need a lot more information to place any blame for vote fraud than you have given me.

Here’s an idea…get your won blog. then you can talk about whatever you like.

  3. Libby says:

It’s so quite. Where has The Donald gone to? We haven’t had a day without bluster for months. It’s … Lord Help Us All … eerie.

Didn’t he say we were soon to be treated to a “policy” speech soon. Theoretically, that would be a succession of cogent and cohesive paragraphs wherein he does not call any people any names. Likely, Pie is consulting on it.

    I just can’t wait.

Trump is reading GOP Teleprompter now. Taking Donor money and reading their scripts.

DNC is cheating, strong arming Bernie and his supporters, hiding Hillary’s crimes? She needs no script she is the ring leader.

CA election was stolen. BTW at least 2 million votes still uncounted in CA.

This election is a sham, the parties are a sham and the media is their tool. Reminds me of another time in history.

All about these trade deals taking away sovernighty and corporate rule. Anybody waving a red or blue flag over social issues is a fool.

All people should be concerned and cut the party crap. The donors are fighting for power.

Will this lawsuit be thrown out? The lawsuit has collected evidence over several elections and can spread to other states.

A true American will stand up. The fraud is real. The elections are not.

You won’t have to wait long. I’m hearing next week.

Amazing that whenever anyone in the Obumble admin is caught lying or otherwise doing something wrong, the first words outta their mouths are “But Bush did it . . .” regardless of accuracy.
News flash for the Left – Bush hasn’t been around for the last 7+ years . . . . .
And you can bet the farm that if a Repub had done what $hrilLIARy has with her unsecured server, she’d already be behind bars!

    • dewster says:

Unfortunately you are only 1/2 right. GW/Cheney got away with crimes and Obama is the one who gave him immunity. So cut the party crap.

It comes down to 2 sets of rules. You or I break a small law we are put away. Those with money and power get a slap on the wrist.

The evidence on political crimes, treason, and racketeering is vast. It is The people vs the oligarchy and they are all friends who will battle each other for the ultimate power.

We loose our civil rights, they get richer. Good Deal Eh?

  5. Tina says:

    “GW/Cheney got away with crimes”

NAME THEM! Then we can talk about them.

You are right, there is big money pushing power. But it’s stupid to blame “the corporations.” You are being manipulated into making an enemy of “corporations” so you won’t notice the individuals perpetrating the crimes. You believe a lot of stuff and make a lot of accusations but you fail to offer evidence or proof. Your paranoia has reached fever pitch…and you’re fighting against the wrong people. Calling me names won’t buy you anything. Assuming you know me, when you don’t, does nothing to further your cause.

I am in favor of seeing guilty people pay for their crimes and I am willing to listen to evidence when it’s presented. I might have a counter argument but I will look at evidence.
