As we’ve seen since the results of the election democrats are an ungracious lot. Protests in the streets, snarky comments, students in meltdown requiring hot chocolate and play dough therapy, and death threats mark some of the responses. One student threatened suicide and said she wasn’t kidding. But this is typical behavior of our sore loser opponents. On a much deeper level the sore loser Democrats enjoy making life difficult then they lose power or leave the stage. Examples:
Democrats refused to accept the election of George W Bush delaying and complicating his transition.
Obama and Michelle chose not to have extended photo ops with Trump and Melania when they met at the white House.
Today the Daily Mail is reporting via Carl Rove that president Obama delayed security repairs to the Oval Office so that the new president will not have the use of it for at least a year:
President Obama could have told the Secret Service, “I know you want to modernize the Oval Office with security enhancements – literally strip it down to the bare walls and build it back up so we’ve got bullet proof glass and so forth and so on, security arrangements in it, in my last year in office,”‘ Rove said.
‘But Instead he said, “Why don’t you do that [with] whoever comes next so the president of the United States, President Trump, my understanding is, will spend most of his first year using Richard Nixon’s old office in the Old Executive Office Building across executive drive and up the Navy steps.”
If true, it tells us how self absorbed and petty our current president can be. Instead of enduring the inconvenience himself he chose to push it off on the next president. It could have been Hillary and he still would have been ungracious!
A member of the Bush administration shared on the Lars Larson show that the Bush administration put up with renovations to the situation room when he was in office and then bemusedly said this behavior is typical of democrats, “They use the military but never maintain it so that the expense is transferred to the next administration.”
You know it’s true.

We’ll be sure and tell Mr. Bannon that he’s “nonsense.” I know we’re not supposed to judge a person by their looks, but did you ever see such an unhealthy looking man? … the pallid, flaccid flabbiness and bloodshot eyes. He looks like he drinks … a lot. He reminds me of Michael. How can a person have millions, and get themselves into such a state? I will never understand it.

Mind you, I prefer the loose cannon. What Pence and Ryan together could do to the impoverished in this country does not bear thinking about.
And … I don’t know … graciousness seems a lot to expect when, come February, we are going to have our very first sitting President sitting at the defendant’s table in a fraud trial.

Libby you’ve already done quite enough to the impoverished in this country…everything from bringing in excessive numbers of immigrants to take American jobs and gobble up education, welfare, and healthcare resources, to oversight of an economy that couldn’t reach a measly 3.0 GDP, to inflation and stagnant wages you’ve harmed the poor and added to their ranks.
But you go ahead and shake in your boots for the impoverished. We’ll get busy providing better security, job opportunity, and education and healthcare choices.
Any by the by…the professor’s presidential predictions are based on an actual formula; his impeachment prediction is by the seat of his pants.
Is being convicted of fraud an impeachable offense? I think it would be, if the Federal Leg were not in Republican hands.

Good God, what am I saying? Trump and Ryan should only spend the next four years attempting to purge each other … and leave the rest of us in peace.
It just occurred to me…doh!
Once Trump takes office he can take control of the upgrade to the Oval Office and see that the job is done in timely fashion and under budget!
Can you imagine America? A leader who actually takes an interest in using your tax dollars wisely and efficiently? It’s a monumental job but even a dent would be a vast improvement.
If it even needs to be done, which, perhaps is why the O-man would not do it?
You know about the boys and their toys. Does the Oval Office need to be “fortified”? Perhaps that is the waste of money.
