It was so refreshing to hear today that President Trump is actually doing what he said he would about illegal immigration! According the news story I hear, he told ICE: Enforce the law! He made it clear to them, you no longer have to stand down per Obama’s orders.
He also announced that sanctuary counties and cities are going to lose their federal funding if they don’t obey the law. That’s nothing new, he’s said that before too and I think they better believe it. This is about time and I am thrilled. These cities and counties just make up their own set of laws and politicies that are in conflict with the federal law! That’s nuts.
So, Trump has warned them and if they want to keep playing this game they are going to be hit right in their pocket books.
By the way, the Union of over 5,000 border patrol agents solidly endorsed Trump for president and right now they could not be happier because Trump is giving them the green light to do the job they signed on to do.
These men and women are stand up people, they believe the law must not be undermined and rediculed by elitists libs running sanctuary cities! Our immigration laws were passed by Congress, not by cities like ultra left San Francisco. Our immigration laws reflect the will of the American people and by damn if these rabid leftwing wackos don’t like it… tough, they’re going to lose a lot of federal money.

Not exactly. You seem to think we suddenly live in Uzbekistan. Trump can sign executive orders requesting this, that, and the other, until his wrist goes limp. If there is no legal mechanism for doing what he proposes be done … the man is out of luck, and so are you.
His order requests that the situation be looked into … and it will be.
And I shouldn’t be telling you any of this. Didn’t it make you feel good? … this sop he tossed you … knowing you would not look too closely? Well, you’ve been suckered … again, and again, and again. When is it going to stop?
The Border Wall Order … another case in point. You don’t get no border wall built in this country without you go to the Congress, Appropriations, and ask nicely for the money. If the Congress proposes to authorized this wall WITHOUT raising the funds to build it … what are you going to say?
