Millions of viewers tuned in to watch the Screen Actors Guild awards only to find the show had become politicized. I turned off my TV after about 15 minutes of insults, misinformation and stupid jokes about the president.
I came here to be entertained, instead I got smug, condescending people who think they are qualified to lecture me about politics because they are famous actors. Well, they can just (bleep) off.
For the full story of what stupid arces these Hollywood millionaires made of themselves tonight, please follow this link. I could not have added a thing, its a great article. CLICK HERE.
Shameful?
Ya know what FREE SPEECH and standing up for humanity is not shameful
UnChristian Like Hate and the need for dictatorship is unAmerican and Shameful.
Dangerous times fueled by hate
Jack didn’t say they had no right to speak. Quit with the histrionics, Dewey!
Ignorant might be a better word to describe the performance style in comments seen at these events. The actors are playing to their political audience rather than their pure entertainment audience. Actors these days don’t seem to care about the distinction. An example of ignorance from the article would be Aston Kutcher’s remark: “We have never been a nation built on fear. Compassion that is the root ethic of America. Our differences are fundamental 2R sustainability.”
Kutcher erred on two counts:
1. FREEDOM, not compassion, is the root ethic of America. This is a fundamental tenet. It’s both shameful and disturbing that someone educated in America doesn’t understand it.
2. Our differences are NOT fundamental 2R sustainability. Nations around the world have “sustained” as nations without large influxes of refugees or immigrants, Danes, Swedes, Norwegians, Chinese, Japanese, etc. Sustainability is not dependent on cultural differences. However, when strong ties to cultural and moral differences prevent immigrants and refugees from assimilating our nation might have trouble sustaining. A nation divided will not stand. Once again, it is the notion of individual freedom and rights that make America unique in all the world and ultimately the worlds leader.
The radical, special interest left is as fundamentally ignorant as is Kutcher.
“Jack didn’t say they had no right to speak.”
No, he just resents that they did, and refuses to listen. This attitude is not conducive to a health republic.
Seriously.
I Don’t Care

“I see lots of arguments defending Trumps actions this weekend. I don’t care. I’m not even reading them. We elected Trump to cut off immigration. Any small subset of that immigration he cuts off is a victory. I don’t care how he does it or about his legal authority or about Obama’s precedents.
I see lots of arguments by lots of people attacking Trumps actions over the weekend. I don’t care. They are all the same liberal anti-American agents and activists that have been undermining America for decades. They have nothing new to say on any subject. And to be quite blunt, I don’t care what they have to say about anything. I played that whole, cooperate and graduate game. This time, we won. We didn’t elect another Bush, McCain, or McMormon. We Elected Trump. We did it because he said he would do exactly what he is doing. Why on Earth would we now care about what anyone has to say about it, especially from the people who told us we were evil racists and fools because we didn’t vote for Hillary?
I seriously don’t care what anyone else has to say on this subject. Talk is over. Negotiations have ended. Positioning is done. Our chosen agent is acting now.
We know that talking to those people is pointless. They don’t care what we have to say either. Argument with them is a waste of breath. And, as it turns out, having majorities in Congress and the Presidency means we don’t have to care what they think or what they say. Now Congress needs to wise up and get with the program and stop letting their political enemies in the minority have any say at all.”

Congress does need to wise up…and man up!
“We elected Trump to cut off immigration. Any small subset of that immigration he cuts off is a victory. I don’t care how he does it or about his legal authority or about Obama’s precedents.”
Wow.
Do others here share this lack of caring about whether Trump has legal authority? I thought conservatives were supposed to stand for the constitution and the rule of law? But it doesn’t matter if Trump breaks the law as long as he restricts immigration, which has already been falling anyway?
Trump hasn’t broken the law. It’s irresponsible to assert that he has. Precedence is not on your side.
I did not assert that Trump broke the law.
RHT447 posted an article in which the author asserts that he doesn’t care whether or not Trump broke the law.
I asked if anyone here agreed with that.
Poor Jack. Have you seen today’s Google Doodle?
You must expect to see a great deal of that sort of thing from now on. “The Resistance” is gearing up nicely.
During this last election cycle we have seen a good deal of fear and selfishness and greed and resentment, and in this day and age we tend to view these things as character flaws or moral failings … and then there is evil, which on account of all this liberal thinking has become very difficult to define. But, like pornography, you know it when you see it.
Boring celebs with political rants guarantee a drop in ratings. Advertisers, please take note.
Smart folks change channels.
Business Insider, “Theater Attendance Plummets To The Lowest It’s Been In 19 Years”
Hollywood Reporter, “Box Office Shocker: Movie Attendance Falls to Lowest Level in 16 Years”
And for those who need a visual, Cinama Blend offers a graph in the article, “The Long-Term Movie Attendance Graph Is Really, Really Depressing.”
And see it we did!
Fear and selfishness and greed and resentment were all present in the poor little snowflakes who needed therapy when the name Trump was chalked onto sidewalks. They resented the idea that the free ride could be ripped away, they selfishly demanded free college, free birth control, free abortions. Their greed resides in feeling like they deserve to take what others have earned. Most of the “evil” resided in the ranks of the left agitators, people you charmingly refer to as “The Resistance,” who murdered cops, destroyed property, and bullied and assaulted Trump supporters. Pure emotion drives these people with hypocrisy riding along in the side car.
Yep, we recognize it when we see it.
Oooh … there’s some twisted knickers. Settle down, girl. You got four years’ of resistance to get through.
Quite possibly eight since your side keeps demonstrating how shallow, weak, ignorant and petty they are.
They do put on quite the clown show. Talk about twisted knickers!
I’m trying to imagine the circumstances wherein a President at a 36 percent approval rating after the first week gets re-elected. I know that Bannon is planning a “Holy War” during which we must all “rally round the flag.”
But as everyone knows that’s what he’s planning, and very few people (you and Jack, of course, but very few others) think that’s a sensible idea, I don’t think they are going to be able to pull it off.
If the two of them were, for instance, to commence obstructing the INA’s slow and steady progress in Mosul, I think they would meet with serious resistance, up to and including a treason trial.
And the award for the Most Boring Political PC BS Rant goes to . . . . . . .
Laura Ingraham and Lifezette – very fitting and worth a read!

Lifezette.
Talking about fake news.
I’m dying.
Should’ve said “. . . .worth a read to those with a modicum of sense.”
Betcha Bryan H. didn’t take the trouble . . . .
People with a modicum of common sense don’t read Lifezette.
