Terrific NAFTA Renegotiation Idea

Posted by Tina

President Trump’s Commerce Secretary, Wilbur Ross, has a terrific idea for negotiations with Mexico over NAFTA. It’s so simple and yet would solve numerous problems for both Mexico and America. It would encourage the Mexican people to remain in their homeland, it would help to “level the playing field” for workers on both sides of the border, and it would be a great humanitarian triumph for all of North America. Imagine a prosperous Mexico! Hopefully the resulting prosperity would spread to Central and South America!

So, what if, a simple negotiation had the power to make Mexico great?

Ok, so most of Mexico makes $4 a day in minimum wage compared to $7.90 an hour in US. No wonder Mexican’s want to come here! And no wonder their wealthy class is living high off the labors Mexican workers. This makes Wilbur’s idea of asking Mexico raise their minimum wage to $40 a day sound reasonable. No more undercutting American labor by poorly paid workers in Mexico. Goods made Mexico will of course cost more, but that makes the price more in line with America goods. Now you liberals tell me, why you would not want those poor Mexicans to earn a “livable wage?” Seems like ol Wilbur has a great plan here and it puts the problem squarely where it belongs…on Mexico.

Love his solution to our illegal immigrant problem. Never will understand why America has been the solution to Mexico’s problems. Cesar Chavez, JFK and Bobby Kennedy were all anti illegals because they knew the economic impact they had on our economy. Chavez founded the UFW to keep them out and took militias of farmworker to the river/border and formed a blockade.

Mexico can start with the $50 million they are willing to spend on the illegals in the US to fight the deportations back to their country.

Mexico Vows $50 Million Legal Fund to Fight U.S. Deportations:

“MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico’s top diplomat said Monday his country will spend about $50 million to hire lawyers for migrants in the United States facing deportation.

The money will be channeled through Mexican consulates in the U.S. and also go to outreach programs “to promote respect for Mexicans’ rights.”

Foreign Relations Secretary Luis Videgaray said the effort “isn’t about obstructing the enforcement of the law in the United States, or much less opposing law enforcement.”

“We are going to focus the money on one fundamental objective, which is the defense of the rights of Mexicans. This means legal advice, informational campaigns, the hiring of lawyers where it is necessary.”

    Here’s another great idea:

A petition calling for ultra-liberal Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling to take in Muslim refugees in her 18 spare bedrooms has attracted over 50,000 signatures.

Schwab wants to make Chico a sanctuary city. As I recall Schwab has a big house up in the hills plus a condo in Chico which she doesn’t actually live in but uses so she can claim to be a resident of Chico so she can be on the city council.

Anyway, I am sure Schwab as a few spare bedrooms available.

Mr. Jack or Mrs. Tina, do you plan to set up a similar petition for Schwab?
