North Korean despot Kim Jong-un seems determined to bring about a war with the United States. The P.R.N.K. most recent propaganda video shows them blowing up a B-1 bomber and an aircraft carrier, although the special effects look almost comical.
Kim Jong-un warned that, “if one bullet is so much fired in the direction of North Korea the USA will be incinerated.” He brags that North Korea has the worlds 5th largest army and they have long range nuclear strike ability.
There has been a purge of high ranking army officers since Kim Jong-un took power in 2010. Most recently North Korea executed five senior security officials for making false reports that “enraged” leader Kim Jong Un, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported Monday. The five were killed with anti-aircraft guns, the National Intelligence Service said in a private briefing to lawmakers, according to the news agency. It wasn’t immediately clear what the “false reports” were, but they appeared to be unrelated to the assassination of Kim Jong Nam, the estranged half-brother of Kim Jong Un, two weeks ago. Exactly what these executions mean is hard to say, except that Kim Jong-un demonstrating the firm hold he has on power.
I hope you will take a moment to watch the following video. It sums up the threat North Korea poses…
Pyongyang envoy to UN warns his country is developing ‘pre-emptive strike capabilities with nuclear forces’.
North Korea will pursue “acceleration” of its nuclear and missile programs including developing a “pre-emptive first-strike capability”, a diplomat from Pyongyang warned on Tuesday.
Choe Myong-nam, deputy ambassador of the North Korean mission to the United Nations in Geneva, told Reuters news agency that US threats of increased sanctions would not faze the country.
“I think this is stemming from the visit by the Secretary of State [Rex Tillerson] to Japan, South Korea and China … We of course are not afraid of any act like that,” Choe said.
“Even prohibition of the international transactions system, the global financial system, this kind of thing is part of their system that will not frighten us or make any difference.”
He called existing sanctions “heinous and inhumane”.
You gotta calm down, Jack. There would be nothing “pre-emptive” about any North Korean Nuke. Little Fatty does seem to be more deranged than Dad was, but if he were to lose it to such a degree, we would, quite strategically, clean his nuclear clock for him.
But he gets to make the first move. To pursue any other policy would be very inconsiderate of the South Koreans.
Wait… I think I must have misread what you just said??? Libby did you say we should nuke North Korea if they use a nuke against the South or us?
As perhaps your only reader who has stood face-to-face with armed North Korean guards and even been in hand- to-hand physical fights with them, I can assure you that while the North Korean leaders are indeed deranged, they are deadly serious about attacking the US. Every NK guard is brainwashed from birth and filled with hatred for the USA.
Thanks Soaps, you’re right, very few of us have ever had the experience of meeting these fanatics face to face in a military confrontation. I suspect fewer still lived to talk about it. Usually any clash by P.R.N.K. with US troops was well planned to be a surprise attack and therefore fatal. We might have a whole different opinion about how to treat North Korea if liberals saw what you did.
Hate is about all the North Koreans seem capable of doing. Their economy is a total failure. Of course everything that is wrong in North Korea is blamed on us, food shortages and starvation, general lack of prosperity, fear of being attacked and therefore being in a constant state of alert… it’s all blamed on us and the hate just keeps building. One of these days it’s going to explode into another war against South Korea and the UN (USA. Given their long range artillery, supersonic jets and their lack of morality regarding the use of chemical, nuclear and biological weapons, any war with them is going to be an epic loss of life.
Without China’s support, NK would have failed long ago. Hard to believe that NK is not operating without a wink and a nod from China – who can then claim “plausible deniability.”
