It’s a free country. We believe in open discussion of all points of view. We believe that human beings should be unrestrained in their reading choices. Progressives count on this ideal to push the socialist agenda in America. Those who favor communist ideals over American ideals are no longer hiding behind pretensions of loyalty, Fundamental transformation is their goal. Now they have an overtly Marxist book to push that agenda with our children…woo hoo:
MIT Press, that supposed bastion of scientific thought, the place where the brainiacs flock and fly — meaning, this wasn’t an “oops, my bad” moment — has just put out a new book aimed at the kiddie market. It’s called “Communism for Kids.” And it’s hitting the “best seller” Amazon lists for the “communism and socialism” section — yes, that’s truly a section.
But what’s the sequel, you think — “Dictatorships for Dummies?”
Anyhow, the Amazon description reads thusly: “Once upon a time, people yearned to be free of the misery of capitalism.”
You had me at “free” — lost me at “misery of capitalism.”
But this book isn’t your regular red-minded communist loving theory-driven drivel. Perish the thought. It’s a story book, filled with — again, hat tip Amazon — “jealous princesses, fancy swords, displaced peasants, mean bosses and tired workers — not to mention a Ouija board, a talking chair and a big pot called ‘the state.'”
Liberal progressive teachers are wetting their drawers as we speak!
Those with kiddies in Pre-K through grammar school can counter this garbage here. These books, written by Rush Limbaugh, are designed to introduce our kids to our founding history and have been wildly popular with kids, parents and teachers. They feature time travel, the character Rush Revere, a horse named Liberty and the main characters of our founding and early history.
The “America isn’t ready for Bernie Sanders yet” (paraphrasing) boy must be squirming with delight!

Dewey your opinion is both wrong and vile. Rush did indeed have a problem with oxy following a severely painful auto-immune disease that eventually wiped out his hearing making him totally deaf. He was dealing with other family issues at the time including cancer in a very close family member. Most people in that situation are praised and applauded when they admit their problem, seek help in rehab, and completely turn their lives around. People like you refuse to afford Mr. Limbaugh, a human being, the empathy and understanding you would offer others in the same situation. I find that despicable.

Kids movies for at least the last 10 years have been filled with the left-wing’s socialist, Marxist anti-capital bias. Kids TV shows are even worse.
