To the NFL and its players,
If I have brain cancer, I don’t ask my dentist what I should do. If my car has a problem, I don’t seek help from a plumber! Why do you think the public cares what a football player thinks about politics? If we want to know about football, then depending on the information we seek, we might consult with you, but even a quarterback doesn’t seek advice on playing his position from a defensive tackle!
You seem to have this over inflated view of yourselves, Anthinking because you enjoy working on such a large scale stage, that somehow your opinion about everything matters. The NFL realizes the importance of its “image” so it has rules that specify the clothes and insignia you can wear, the language you use, and your “antics” after a touchdown or other “great” play. But somehow you and your employer don’t seem to care that you disgrace the entire nation and its 320 million people in the eyes of the world by publicly disrespecting this country, its flag, and its anthem! The taxpaying citizens of this country subsidize your plush work environments, yet you choose to use those venues to openly offend those very citizens.
Do you even understand what the flag of this country means to so many of its citizens before you choose to “take a knee” in protest of this “country” during our national anthem?
You believe you are our heroes, when in reality you are nothing but overpaid entertainers, who exist solely for our enjoyment! Well, your current antics are neither entertaining nor enjoyable, but rather a disgrace to this country, its citizens, all our veterans and their families, and the sacrifices they have made to ensure this country remains free. You choose to openly disgrace this country in the eyes of the rest of the world, yet with all your money, still choose to live here rather than in any other country. People with even the slightest amount of “Class” will stand and respect our flag. Where does that put you?
You can protest policies, the current government, or anything else you choose, that is your right. But when you “protest” our flag and anthem, you are insulting the nation we all live in and love, and all those who have served, been injured, or died to keep it free. There is nothing you can do or say that can make your actions anything more than the arrogance of classless people, who care about themselves more than our country or the freedoms for which our veterans and their families have sacrificed so much, to ensure you have the “right” to speak freely.
Our country is far from perfect, but if you can point to any other country where your freedom and opportunities are better than they are here, then you just might want to go there and show respect for their flag!
A different take on the dying NFL – and what caused it.

Fans are voting with their wallets!
If I’m not mistaken this protest began with Kaepernick taking a knee in support of Black Lives matter. BLM recently asked him to lead the organization and become their national spokesman:
Hmmm…most in the black community are not supporting BLM? The way the media talks you’d think it had wider support.
It’s not surprising they’re looking for a national spokesman…gotta get those protester numbers up! But quite a few folks in the black community have served this nation in the military. Seems to me that disrespect for our anthem and flag is a stupid way to address issues pertaining to the narrative that animates BLM.
“Did Kaepernick’s activist girlfriend inspire his support of Black Lives Matter?:
Kaepernick is free to join BLM any time they protest. That would be an appropriate place and time for his activism. He’s made a big mistake protesting on the public’s dime and time. They didn’t fork out money to attend his little seminar…they didn’t pay big bucks to watch him take a knee when our flag and our national anthem are being honored and members of our great military are often on the field prior to kickoff.
As for those paying to watch at home…is the network even broadcasting the opening minutes of the game…or are they hiding it behind a commercial for their TV viewers?
I’ve never been a big football fan but my husband has followed the 49ers since he was a kid when they were still playing at Kezar Stadium in SF. He watches them still, but I notice he’s not paying full attention anymore and he’s likely to turn them off around half time. The enthusiasm just isn’t there. He’s said all along that the sport has gone steadily downhill since Roger Goodell was hired. It’s become another “social justice” platform.
Businesses fail when they lose sight of their reason for being. And make no mistake, football is a business. When salaries begin to take a hit will start to wake up….and will it be too late.
From what I’ve heard the only full team that stood for the anthem was the Dallas Cowboys, most with their hand over their heart. One player raised his fist for a second at the end. Looks like they took Jones at his word when he said they wouldn’t play if they took a knee.
Lots of empty seats at today’s games could mean big problems for not just players and owners, but also for cities that funded those empty stadiums they paid for.
NFL Week #7 – More Empty Seats Seed Doubt for Future of Commissioner…
” reasonable person would think there’s no way the owners of these billion dollar franchises would watch their entire organization collapse financially. Yet, seemingly that’s exactly what’s happening. Social Justice Marxism is a toxic disease.
Check out these NFL stadiums, and the number of empty seats, from earlier today:”

“I call this book Tombstone. It is a tombstone for my father who died of hunger in 1959, for the 36 million Chinese who also died of hunger, for the system that caused their death and perhaps for myself for writing this book.”
Yang Jishen’s book is banned in China. It is a passionate and angry account of one of the 20th century’s most shocking man-made disasters. Based on an array of new sources and personal testimonies and written by someone who was a Communist Party insider with remarkable access to official archives, Tombstone is as significant and powerful a work as Solzhenitsyn’s The Gulag Archipelago.

A friend sent this to me in an email. No further comment needed. . . . . .
Children raised in fatherless homes, especially black children, are far more likely than children raised in two parent homes to engage in criminal behavior and thus, have contact with police.
Ergo when anyone father a child with a woman to whom they are not married – or at least living with – they are contributing to the problem against which these football players are taking a knee.
If you look at many of these players’ records on out-of-wedlock children, you find that they are contributing significantly to the problem against which they are protesting.
For example, Antonio Cromartie has 12 children by 9 different women. Apparently the NFL had to shell out $500,000 before he could even play football for them.
Travis Henry has 11 children by 10 women,
Willis McGahee has 9 children by 8 women,
Derrick Thomas has 7 children by 5 different women,
Bennie Blades has 6 children by 6 women,
Ray Lewis has 6 children by 4 women and
Marshall Faulk has 6 children by 4 women.
Before these guys take a knee they should take a good look in the mirror, as it appears that their problem doesn’t seem to be the knee . . . . . .
