Some days are filled with things to discuss. Others not so much. today it was one thing after another.
I’m sure you heard about the allegations in Donna Brazile’s new book about how Hillary and Co. rigged the election and took all the money that passed through the DNC for her own campaign. If not The Washington Post has the story. Brazile doesn;t mince words either:
Brazile paints a scathing portrait of Clinton as a well-intentioned, historic candidate whose campaign was badly mismanaged, took minority constituencies for granted and made blunders with “stiff” and “stupid” messages. The campaign was so lacking in passion for the candidate, she writes, that its New York headquarters felt like a sterile hospital ward where “someone had died.” … As one of her party’s most prominent black strategists, Brazile also recounts fiery disagreements with Clinton’s staffers — including a conference call in which she told three senior campaign officials, Charlie Baker, Marlon Marshall and Dennis Cheng, that she was being treated like a slave.
“I’m not Patsey the slave,” Brazile recalls telling them, a reference to the character played by Lupita Nyong’o in the film, “12 Years a Slave.” “Y’all keep whipping me and whipping me and you never give me any money or any way to do my damn job. I am not going to be your whipping girl!”
Those loyal to Clinton are reportedly “shocked”
You may also have heard about Rand Paul being body slammed by his anesthesiologist neighbor in his own front yard. The tackle resulted in five fractured ribs and lung contusions. The neighbor, Rene Boucher, 59, was arrested Friday and charged with fourth-degree assault and later released on a $7,500 bond. A county attorney said further charges could be brought, based on the extent of Paul’s injuries. Mr. Boucher was a Bernie Sanders supporter.
And finally I’m very disappointed in the former Bush presidents, one of which described President Trump as, “a blowhard.” At least it was members of the Democrat Party, rather than his own, that described W as “cocky,” among other things, when he served our nation.
Such is the state of politics these days.
All of a sudden, we have Brazile whitewashing herself – conveniently coincidental that she has a book coming out next week.
Each day, we’ll be given more book hype and “revelations” that she hopes will encourage book sales.
Gotta give her points for book promotion, but that fades when we remember her SILENCE on $hrilLIARy/DNC shenanigans and her slipping $hrilLIARy debate questions in advance . . . .
If you just have to read her book, don’t reward her and buy it – get it at the library!
Good advice.
Why would anyone read it. We already know about the skulduggery involved anytime The Billary are involved. Besides others will read it and give us the highlights.
I was thinking in terms of the divide in the party and what this book means in terms of power and control. Looks like Brazile is betting (somewhat reluctantly?) on power shifting to the more radical, Bernie, wing. She seems to regret not pressing for Uncle Joe (elites) as their candidate.
I have a request in to the library for the e-book version. Will be interesting to see just how many coats of whitewash Donna has applied to herself . . . . . .
The revolt that didn’t happen for lack of interest. I’d heard about this huge revolution that was going to take place nationwide. Turns out it was a party no one showed up for.
The Revolution Has Been Postponed:

Indeed. As someone else commented—this is the first revolution in this country to be grounded by moms.
In other news, an interesting connection of dots—
