Children Separated…Dems Go Berserk- Manufacture Outrage!!!

While we await news about Michael Horowitz’s testimony before Congress let’s talk about the Democrat’s manufactured outrage over the care of children at the border. The Democrats, including their media friends, are actively ginning up a story that accuses the Trump administration for “cruelty toward children,” over something that’s been happening for at least a decade, probably more. The ugly rhetoric has been typically over the top:

AOL: “Former CIA chief compares Trump admin to Nazis over separating children from parents”

Chicago sun times, “Gutierrez slams Trump’s child separation, compares fear tactics to Nazi Germany”

LA Times, “Separating children and parents at the border is cruel and unnecessary”

WFB, “Gayle King at Texas Border Patrol Facility: The Statue of Liberty Is ‘Weeping Right Now'”

Oh really? HSS Secretary Nielsen defends the policy, posted at National Review, “‘We Will Not Apologize’ — Homeland Security Secretary Defends Family-Separation Policy”

“We will not apologize for the job we do or for the job law enforcement does, for doing the job that the American people expect us to do,” Nielsen said during her Monday address to National Sheriffs’ Association in New Orleans. “Illegal actions have and must have consequences. No more free passes, no more get-out-of-jail-free cards.” … Nielsen went on to decry inaccurate media portrayals of the Trump administration’s enforcement policy, which requires the detention and prosecution of all individuals caught crossing the border illegally. The policy has resulted in the separation of roughly 2,000 children from their parents, who are in detention awaiting trial. … … Nielsen placed blame for family separations squarely on lawmakers, citing legislative inaction on immigration reform as the central obstacle to changing the system. She also suggested that previous administrations are partly to blame for incentivizing child trafficking by providing “free passes” to adults who try to cross the border with children. … “This must stop. All this does is put the children at risk. To address these issues we’ve asked Congress to change the law to allow for the expeditious return of unaccompanied children, regardless of their country of origin. We are also asking Congress to allow us to keep families together while they are detained.”

How different was it under Obama? In some ways it was worse.

Democrats had a “Ya’ll come” attitude that encouraged and incentivized illegal entry while ignoring our laws. The left’s sanctuary policy encourages criminals to cross and then shelters them. The welcoming policies offer incentives to human traffickers who realize there’s big buck to be made. It should also be noted that the hoards of people, numbering in the thousands, that illegally cross our southern border are made up of those desperately escaping failed socialist countries south of our border. It’s a recipe to turn our nation into another third world hell hole!

Rather than supporting policies that would inspire freedom and capitalism in the countries south of our borders the American left shares many of the policies of the socialist dictators that have made such a mess of nations like Honduras, Guatamala, El Salvador, and Mexico. When government policies create high crime and terrorized citizens who have no hope for prosperity and safety how smart can those policies be? Not smart at all but the American left imagines itself the brightest and you and I the worst. Hillary Clinton has even invoked the Bible to shame Trump and push the leftist open border, take em all in, shelter even the dangerous criminals policies.

The reason is fairly simple: many male Mexican nationals who are detained trying to cross the border often come with their families in tow. When ATEP is used, the men are captured and taken thousands of miles away, while their wives, partners and children are placed in immigrant detention centers.

Fast-track deportations and ankle bracelets will be deployed under a larger-than-expected White House plan to deal with an immigration crisis prompted by the arrival of more than 52,000 children at the southern US border since last October, trafficked into Texas from Central America. … those entering the country recently would be dealt with first in an effort to deal with a backlog blamed for encouraging more families to risk the hazardous journey through Mexico for El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.

At issue is whether it’s legal to essentially lock up women and children who’ve crossed the border illegally, part of the administration’s response to last summer’s unaccompanied-minors crisis.

We have an immigration crisis in this nation because of failed policies over many administrations both left and right who refused to secure our borders and enact sensible immigration policy that invites LEGAL immigration and discourages illegal entry.The current drama is political too…Democrats are desperate for an issue!
