A special Thank You to all who served to protect our freedom…. Happy 4th Folks
There was a great post on Twitter today. Young man sitting on the tailgate of his pickup truck with a big smile and holding the Betsy Ross flag, wearing his new tennis shoes. Caption read “That feeling when you just bought a new pair of @adidas . . . . .”
That says it ALL!
I haven’t seen the Adidas’ commercial yet, but loved Ted Cruz’s smackdown of Kapernick and the NYT editor by educating them on the truth about the Frederick Douglass quote. With editors like her, no wonder the NYT has earned the title of fake news.
Ted Cruz Gives Colin Kaepernick A History Lesson — Explains Why His Frederick Douglass Quote Is Misleading:

Ted Cruz hits back at NYT editorial board member who said he should not quote Frederick Douglass:

I love this song. Unfortunately there is a party and a progressive/socialist/communist movement that is determined to take our freedom away. They can take it away unless we stand up.
Speaking of Twitter…
Today, the president quote tweeted an image with a fake quote shared by a fake Twitter account pretending to be “The Reagan Batallion,” a group that was NeverTrump until a few weeks ago when they changed course and said that Trump would have their vote in 2020.
The quote appeared as all-caps text on top of an image of Trump shaking hands with then-President Ronald Reagan, in which Reagan is purported to have said “For the life of me, and I’ll never know how to explain it, when I met that young man, I felt like I was the one shaking hands with a president.”
The president’s one-word comment on the image: “Cute!”
Reagan never said this, and the account that originally shared the fake quote has now been suspended, supposedly for impersonating the real Reagan Batallion.
The president has not deleted the tweet.

The president has no ability to tell truth from fiction and no interest in finding out the difference. He only cares if something is flattering to him, regardless of whether or not it is true. As I’ve pointed out many times, this poses a serious national security risk. The president must have some ability to distinguish between accurate and inaccurate information. Lives have depended on this ability in the past. We went to war based on faulty information that the Bush administration failed to verify properly. (Trump supported this war at the time, but lied about his past support during the campaign.)
A president who constantly puts his own ego before the truth is a danger to our country. We saw this danger when he joked around with Putin last week, who laughed when Trump was cajoled into telling him, half-heartedly, “Don’t meddle in the election.” Trump has never been able to publicly accept the fact that Putin meddled in 2016, even though the Mueller report clearly shows he knew of these efforts and was happy to benefit from them. To publicly acknowledge them would, in his mind, be to admit that his victory wasn’t entirely because of his own skill and charisma. (This is also why he had to invent 3 million illegal votes in California to explain his popular vote loss to Hillary Clinton.
Whether because of stupidity or cravenness or some combination of the two, the president is in violation of his oath of office and is endangering the nation. His constant retweeting of inaccurate information and fake news may seem like a small thing, but it is indicative of a much larger problem: he simply does not care about the truth, and will reward anyone who soothes his ego, even hostile foreign dictators. He should resign immediately.
Chris is so cute when he dons his manufactured outrage robes.
I think every American has the right to be outraged about the president being so disconnected from reality that he constantly shares obvious fake news in order to make himself feel better.
Why aren’t you outraged about that?
Pie here: I am not outraged by the “outrage” of fools who idiotically claim Trump is disconnected from reality. I am only saddened by how stupid you are. Why are you such a silly, braying jackass? (No need to answer, we already know why you are.)
If you want to study presidents who seriously tried to shut down journalists with the power of the executive office, I suggest you do a little research on Obama. (Of course you will not.)
As usual, you cannot rebut the facts so you resort to nothing but insults. You cannot defend Trump sharing fake news about Reagan, so you change the subject.
Pathetic.

Liberty is your birthright. Secure its blessings to yourselves, and your posterity.
Not if the left has its way.
Man, today was just full of brilliant quotes from the President, but this one really takes the cake:
“To me free speech is not when you see something good and then you purposely write bad. To me that’s very dangerous speech, and you become angry at it. But that’s not free speech.”
How can anyone expect him to fulfill his oath to defend the Constitution when he doesn’t have a basic understanding of its first amendment?
He should resign immediately.
Today the president told congresswomen of color to go back to their own countries.

The president is a racist moron.
The National Review’s David French agrees with me, and mentions other racist comments from the president here:
