Yup. That high pitched “crack” you hear from the shots he is firing is a sonic crack (as opposed to a sonic boom). It is the sound of the bullet breaking the sound barrier. The sound barrier is about 1100 ft/second, depending on air temp and altitude. The suppressor has absolutely no effect on this. Hence the development of sub-sonic rounds like the .300 Blackout and .22 Long Rifle with a 60gr bullet.

You people just don’t get it. It wouldn’t matter if suppressors were edible, highly nutritious, easy to grow, and would solve the world’s hunger problem. They are associated with guns and therefore with the sort of people we know to be deplorable and irredeemable. The guns must be removed from that element of society, and those people, well, …. we could try to get their minds right, …first
