A number of prominent celebrities were very, very serious as they called for gun control in a new ad. “Enough!” they declared.

YouTube user Mike Hunt decided to have a little fun with the ad and a few clips from the work of these very, very serious celebrities:

  1. Pie Guevara says:

Some gun control screed from Donald Kaul —

    • Declare the NRA a terrorist organization and make membership illegal. Hey! We did it to the Communist Party, and the NRA has led to the deaths of more of us than American Commies ever did. (I would also raze the organization’s headquarters, clear the rubble and salt the earth, but that’s optional.) Make ownership of unlicensed assault rifles a felony. If some people refused to give up their guns, that “prying the guns from their cold, dead hands” thing works for me.

    • Then I would tie Mitch McConnell and John Boehner, our esteemed Republican leaders, to the back of a Chevy pickup truck and drag them around a parking lot until they saw the light on gun control.

I suppose I could recommend the good, law abiding, gun owner citizens of Des Moines take their pickup trucks down to The Register, herd the editorial staff out of the building and then drag them around the parking lot by their heels for printing this obscenity, but I won’t.

Of course you wouldn’t, Pie, it takes hard core progressive indoctrination mixed with syndicated union and community organizating training to think up such evil.

No, I think maybe a few days tied to the flag pole in the town square with tape over their mouths holding a sign that reads: My law abiding neighbors have the right to keep and bear arms, to assemble as they choose, to feel safe in their homes and places of assembly and I am an A%@H*L# for suggesting violent acts should be visited upon them. A few hundred hours of community work that included reading the Constitution to school children might also be good medicine.
