Just how idiotic is the ginned up hatred for the Koch brothers? I’ll let you decide as Andrew Stiles of the Washington Free Beacon explains the latest lunacy:
The Koch brothers are at it again. Their right-wing political Panzer Division descended on a New York City hospital over the weekend to protest (!) the addition of a new ambulatory care center. What the hell, Koch bros? Why not pro-America?
Sorry. That’s not quite right. In fact, it was the New York State Nurses’ Association, the NAACP New York State Conference, and SEIU Local 1199, among others, who marched on the soon-to-be-built David H. Koch Center at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, which was funded in part by a $100 million donation from the man one prominent liberal recently predicted would go down in history as a “famously evil person.”
This bunch is so cynical and mean that they would blow a hole in fundraising for a new clinic just to demean a fellow citizen with differing political views.
This isn’t the only example of stinkin’ thinkin’ by mean-spirited radical lefties. Angry corporate heads are demanding that climate deniers get out of their stocks! A number of years ago Rush Limbaugh made a sizable donations to a charity combating children’s aids and the group would not accept the donation because of Rush’s politics.
I can’t relate to anyone who would be so politically and ideologically driven, and so filled with hatred, that they would refuse to accept a heartfelt donation to help those in need. The $100 million investment by one of the Kochs will help people for years to come and create permanent jobs…what are these radicals thinking?
