I waited to post about this story thinking that eventually here would be something specific to post…so far all we have discovered only adds to the mystery. Flight 370 has disappeared, it may have been off course, the pilot (Or someone else) might have turned the plan, fake passports caused early terrorist concerns but family members say their family member cell phones are still active, some speculate hijacking others complete disintegration, no credible reports of oil slick or wreckage have been reported.
Anyone want to weigh-in on the mystery?
One of the reasons this case has been dragging on is the incompetence of the people the US is forced to deal with. They’re premitive amatures compared to our NTSA crash investigators. They are also blocking us from helping because of politics, both Chinese and Malayan governments.
The latest info, (if you can believe it – lots of questionable information out here) is the planes transponder was turned off while the plane was in flight. Next, the plane left the prescribed flight plan and headed West. Both military and civilian radar were tracking the plane, but there is a conflict between the two as to it’s last known point of contact. If there was satellite imgaing, and I think there was, nobody is talking. As to the Iranians with stolen passports, we don’t know much about them. Again, it’s politics. There is also some history to say the pilots were known to allow passengers into the cockpit for sightseeing. This is a stupid, high risk, activity that should have been stopped as soon as it was discovered. The pilots were too casual about their security and put the passengers at high risk. It amazes me these pilots could remotely think this was okay.
Given what we have so far, which isn’t much, it appears the plane was hijacked.
There are 3 redundant systems on the transponder, you don’t just turn it off, this was a deliberate planned event. You don’t deviate from your course without tower approval, no pilot would just turn because of weather without permission, it’s illegal. Again, this was a planned event, human intervention.
Because of the incompetence of the local investigators and radar operators, exactly where to look has been a problem.
I’m going with the plane went down in the water and there is a debris field that will eventually turn up, but the search area is so large, who can say when it will turn up. That’s my take. -Jack
PS But, what about the rumor that the cell phones are still active? If they were, they could be triangulated. I doubt they are active.

Bingo. Ever since 9/11, any airliner that deviates from its course or goes “off the radar” is instantly the focus of anyone with “eyes and ears” in the area or overhead. Somebody somewhere knows more than we have been told. There are any number of possible scenarios as to why they would choose to keep mum and let events play out. Beyond that, I will defer to Jack as his resources are much better than mine.
RHT, well about 10 minutes ago I heard the Chinese had a sat picture of a white debris field in the ocean not far off the flight path that measured about 69X69. Looks like the aircraft banked over and went in. Maybe the black box will be found…don’t know how deep it is there, but suspect it’s not beyond recovery range.
Who knows if we ever get the real story, but even if we did the RWNJ’s will turn it around for propaganda
