The brutal and barbarous ISIS gang operates under sharia law and has previously executed people for smoking cigarettes, insulting Allah or “homosexual” acts.
In November 2014, two young Syrian men in the Syrian-Iraqi border town of Mayadeen were stoned to death for being gay, despite no evidence of a “crime.”
Another gay man was thrown from a three-story building in Wilayat al-Furat in December, then stoned to death with cement blocks by an angry mob of Muslims who aided ISIS.
On Tuesday, the terror thugs released a video showing one masked coward use fuel to burn to death caged Jordanian pilot Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh, one of the most depraved and barbaric acts carried out by the group yet. The young Jordanian pilot (also a Muslim) was caged, doused with an accelerant and then set on fire by his fellow Muslim captors that are now part of ISIS.
Anyone see any candle-light vigils or protests marches against ISIS in San Francisco over these murders? How about in Seattle? Hmmm…I wonder why not?
To their credit there have been mobs protesting the murder of the pilot in Jordan, but its a mix of anger against ISIS and…AMERICA? They’re claiming America (Obama policies) is responsible for creating ISIS and allowing them to spread into 3 different countries. An American female is still being held by ISIS. She was captured in 2014 while working for several humanitarian aid organizations. Her name is not being published at the request of the US government and her family.
BONUS: Since President Obama’s vigorous bombing of ISIS targets they have gained ground. The only real progress has come from the Kurds who have taken the fight to the enemy in the border town of Kobani inside Syria.
Obama has released about 450 terrorists from Guantanamo since taking office and about 20% (90) of them have been discovered returning to terrorism. Of the 5 terrorists recently released for Bowie Bergdahl, the alleged deserter, has returned to terrorist activities. And effective May 1st, the Yemen government will stop monitoring the activities of the other 4 current in their care.
If 90 Gitmo detainees have returned to terrorism, we ought to question what Obama has done. Remember, it only took 19 terrorists to carryout the attack on 9/11 where 3,000 people died.
These are the same sort of people that tried God’s patience once upon a time and we “Noah” how that worked out.
Very funny Dan. Thanks for the smile.
I have one question. I dont understand why ISIS is killing humanitarian aid workers and reporters. What do they gain?
Jack: “Anyone see any candle-light vigils or protests marches against ISIS in San Francisco over these murders? How about in Seattle? Hmmm…I wonder why not?”
Because it didn’t happen here.
People are more likely to protest against things that happen in their own country. Is that not obvious?
What would be the point of protesting ISIS in America? Are they amenable to protest? Would it have any effect? Not likely. They’re psychotic tyrants who can’t be reasoned with.
I’m not saying I would oppose such a protest. But scolding people for NOT protesting such a thing while protesting offenses committed in their own country, is unfair. And “You hypocritical liberals, protesting things that happen in America when you should be protesting things that happen in foreign countries!” is not a very persuasive argument when you stop and think about it.
Chris – “Because it didn’t happen here?” You are saying that is the range our moral obligation and conscience? Well, not mine. I protested right along with the Je Suis Charlie protesters that happened all over France and Europe. But, I am not scolding, I’m calling to question their responsibility as good citizens.
Our moral sensibilities are not constrained by geopolitical borders, nor should they be and further, I would never ask anyone to do what I wouldn’t do. So, if I can pick up a sign and stand on the street corner protesting against violence in France, I have a right to question why the gay community in San Francisco and elsewhere, can’t be just as obliged to protest the butchering of gays under Sharia Law.
Danthe Man at #2
I doubt if they think of them as aid workers or reporters. They are “other” and useful as tools in the terror wars they wage.
Another answer would be, these are not rational men 😉
Big smile for #1, clever!
Jack: “You are saying that is the range our moral obligation and conscience?”
No, I’m saying that not everyone is morally required to protest everything. No one has that kind of time.
Chris, why are you making all these excuses? lol It’s not about you, it’s okay, I’m just saying that as often as these folks take to the street in protest of different things one would think the stoning of gays as a matter of religious policy would be so over the top they would want to make it known how they feel about it. Geez… There’s an old saying, those who can, have the obligation to do. So there you go, if they can, then they should…its the morally right thing to do. So, no need to defend them for their inaction, just agree that they should if they can and be happy you’re right. : )
Excuse me, but protestors sure seem to come up with the time to protest everything from eating chicken to targeting Jews at UC Davis at police officers in Ferguson. But, asking where are the protestors to stand up against the stoning of gays and women who did nothing more than talk to a unrelated man or accidentally expose her ankle and all of a sudden you’re too busy. Wow!
I guess protecting the rights of gays and women is only important to Democrats if they have the time or if SEIU is paying them to protest.
Did you by chance see another woman was buried up to her chest and stoned to death?
What hypocrites!!!! The Democrats are silent and I’ll bet Fox is the only one covering the Republicans who are speaking out against these murders. Doesn’t fit the Democrats and lamestream agenda of promoting the Muslim faith while denouncing their Sharia law practice of stoning.
Peggy: “Excuse me, but protestors sure seem to come up with the time to protest everything from eating chicken to targeting Jews at UC Davis at police officers in Ferguson. I know! Why would people find the time to protest issues that directly affect them, when they could be protesting foreign countries?
This is why the Tea Party has given up its anti-Obamacare marches to spend the majority of its time protesting the stoning of gays in the Middle East!
Oh, wait, it hasn’t done that?
Then shove the hypocrisy.
Shocking!! Now what? Will protests now be organized to protect these men and women?
Norway Islamic Leader: ‘Every Muslim’ Wants ‘Death Penalty for Homosexuals’:
“Fahad Qureshi, who founded Islam Net and is considered an Islamic leader in Norway, told a large group of Sunni Muslims that, contrary to media claims that it is only “radicals” and “extremists” who support barbaric punishments for those who violate sharia, regular Muslims support such things, including the “death penalty for homosexuals” and “stoning for adultery.”
“Every now and then, every time we have a conference, every time we invite a speaker, they [the media] always come with the same accusations: This speaker supports the death penalty for homosexuals, this speaker supports the death penalty for this crime or this crime or that he is homophobic, that he subjugates women, etcetera,” said Qureshi in a video posted by the Middle East Memory Research Institute (MEMRI).
“We always try to tell them,” he continued, “I always try to tell them that it is not that speaker that we are inviting who has these ‘extreme radical views,’ as you say. These are general views that every Muslim actually has.”
“Every Muslim believes in these things,” said Qureshi at the Nov. 7, 2013 conference. “Just because they are not telling you about it, or just because they are not out there in the media, doesn’t mean that they don’t believe in them.”
Qureshi then asked the attendees to raise their hands if they agreed with certain points about Islam and the Quran.
“I will ask you, everyone in the room: How many of you are normal Muslims – you’re not extremists, you’re not radical – just normal Sunni Muslims?” he said. “Please, raise your hands. Everybody [raised their hands], with the grace of God. Okay, take down your hands.”
“How many of you agree that men and women should sit separate?” said Qureshi. “Please raise your hands. Everyone agrees, everyone agrees, brothers as well as sisters. So it’s not just these ‘radical’ sheiks, then?”
He then said, “How many of you agree that the punishments described in the Koran and the Sunna – whether it is death, whether it is stoning for adultery, whatever it is — if it is from Allah and His Messenger, that is the best punishment ever possible for humankind, and that is what we should apply in the world. Who agrees with that?”
The crowd then raised their hands.
“Allahu Akbar,” said Qureshi, adding, “Are you all radical extremists? So all of you are saying that you are common Muslims, you all go to different mosques in Norway. Or are you a specific sect, like the Islam Net sect, or anything like that? Are you like that? No. Are you like that? Please raise your hand if you are like that extreme Islam, that sect, or anything like that? No one, Allah Akbar.”

Chris, you’re being unfair to Peggy.
She was pointing out that the liberal left didn’t bother to protest the stoning of Muslim gays and this is one of their favorite issues…gay rights.
You countered that the Tea Party didn’t protest either – however the Tea Party by its own rules is focused strictly on fiscal issues, not gay rights.
Jack, good point, my analogy was not that great for the reason you pointed out. But then let me try and correct that: why doesn’t the Tea Party protest more against countries with worse fiscal problems then the U.S? The answer is obvious: because they are more directly affected by fiscal problems here, and they can in turn have a greater effect on U.S. fiscal policy than on fiscal policy in, say, Greece.
By the same token, gays and their allies in America are right to focus more on oppression of gays here in America than on oppression of gays elsewhere. Not because oppression of gays is worse here–it obviously is much worse in the Middle East–but because that is the type of oppression that most directly affects them, and the type that they stand a better chance of fixing.
Now, that’s not to say an American protest against anti-gay violence in the ME would be a bad idea. I’m sure such protests have happened, though I can’t think of any off the top of my head. But it is unreasonable to accuse gay rights activists of hypocrisy for focusing more on the issues that directly affect their own countries. If they were going around saying that the Middle East is a haven of equality, that would be one thing. But I know of no liberal who believes such a thing.
Chris, I guess you forgot about Michelle and Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton speaking out about the 200 school girls in Nigeria that were taken by Boko Haram. While it’s not exactly a protest in the streets it would have the same effect by bringing attention to an unjust and horrific situation.
Plus, the internet was filled with tens of thousands of people, including Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton, holding up signs that said, “Bring Back Our Girls.”
Protests don’t have to be in the streets. With the social media now it is so much more effective and wide reaching.

‘Bring Back Our Girls’ Becomes Rallying Cry for Kidnapped Nigerian Schoolgirls:
“On April 25, Mosley decided to start tweeting, “Bring back our girls,” as well.
“I started shouting it on social media hoping that people would listen and they would shout it back,” she said, “and so first I started shouting to all my friends. Then I started shouting it to Barack Obama.”

The chorus would continue to grow. The phrase has now been used on Twitter more than 800,000 times, including by celebrities Kerry Washington and Chris Brown. On Sunday, Hillary Clinton tweeted, “Access to education is a basic right & an unconscionable reason to target innocent girls. We must stand up to terrorism. #BringBackOurGirls.”
“I jumped up and I cheered,” Mosley said, describing her reaction to Clinton’s tweet. “I realize that it seems like a hashtag is a trivial thing. But actually it’s not. It’s an SOS to the world.”

The “War on Women” and gay rights are the corner stone to Democrat’s issues and even the platform for the 2012 election. One can only wonder why the gays being killed by radial Muslims in one foreign country doesn’t deserve the same outrage and demonstration the missing school girls did in another foreign country.
It became a national issue because a handful of leaders in the Democrat party decided to take it on. Those same leaders could do the same for the gays being killed. Oh but, then I forgot. It’s not an election year, is it?
Accusing the Tea Party for not addressing a social issue is a cop-out. The TEA, in case you didn’t know, stands for Taxed Enough Already. And was just another one of your Saul Alinsky attempts to redirect the blame away from those responsible.
So, where is the left’s outrage over the gays being killed just because they’re gay? Why aren’t you speaking out for their rights? And also all of the women you Democrats used to get reelected, did you decide since it’s not an election year you won’t be there for them either?
Chris: “Then shove the hypocrisy.”
No Chris, you shove it up your hypocritical backsides.
Peggy: “Chris, I guess you forgot about Michelle and Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton speaking out about the 200 school girls in Nigeria that were taken by Boko Haram”
No, I didn’t forget about this, and this sentence is yet another non-sequitur. This would make sense if I was arguing that Americans never protest things that happen in other countries, or that they should never do so. But that is obviously not my argument. My argument is that it is silly to criticize people for protesting things that happen in their own countries and not protesting things that happen in other countries, as if this is evidence of hypocrisy.
You want to start a hashtag protesting the treatment of gays in the Middle East? Go for it! I’ll retweet it myself. It’s an important issue. But right now I your argument boils down to lecturing people for not doing enough to protest an issue that you yourself are also doing very little about.
“They’re claiming America (Obama policies) is responsible for creating ISIS and allowing them to spread into 3 different countries.”
Alas … they have a point. Shall I remind you again that the upper echelons of ISIS received “instruction” under our auspices. You may be unwilling to own it … but it’s true nonetheless.
One more great blob on that pile of guilt you simply cannot stomach that the O-man should make attempts to dissipate.
It’s a large pile. Shouldn’t you be grateful if the O-man can evaporate some segment of it? Not this one, though. Not Daesh. Not this one for some time to come.
